Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is really nice and thought provoking. I choose this course because I love languages and also the college provides me with many quality professionals and a great library with lots or tons of books. The teaching is really nice and you feel comfortable enough to stay in the classrooms with a better understanding and mind. But in some other cases a very few teachers find to be rude and not worthy enough to teach,although that was cleared before every semester exams. The exams were conducted on each months or may be on alternative weeks and the semester examinations will be conducted before having model examinations. Model examinations will be quite tough sometimes to prepare you for the greater task that is the university main examinations.
Internships Opportunities :
Many companies came to visit our college which consists of guidehouse which provided RMC opportunity and RRD etc. The internship helped many students because of the packages they provide and the availability of many opportunities.
Placement Experience :
From sixth semester students become eligible for placements and the initiative would be done within the college management. The companies which have visited our college includes: guidehouse, rrd, alliance etc which offers packages covering placements for 50 + students. The packages ranges from 15000 - 28000. Students without any back papers could participate in these. If I'm getting an opportunity from placements that would be quite pleasing or else I try to find any jobs as soon as possible with the diplomas i have.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution fees for the bachelor of arts(English literature) is always between 13000 to 20000 for every semester. The services charges upon the course or tution fees may not increase any further. The compulsory charge for me every semester is 13000 but if you are not coming in merit but by management quota then the fees must increase into 16000 or below. Indira gandhi scholarship for girl child which gives 2000 per annum and egrant scholarship gives 6000 per annum and there were stipend for scheduled classes which covers 4000-5000 per annum. The campus selection may occur in every final year students which covers most of the best known companies from technopark.
Campus Life :
The college covers a few main festivals including onam, Christmas, ethnic day, Art's and sport's day. And we also have welcoming party's for the novices to the college. The library consists of many books ranges over to 1000+ which covers many genres including the subjects available there. The classrooms have a projector display and boards as usual. The sports and Art's offer many opportunities for students those who are interested. We have 5 days of sports festival and two days of arts festival. Many social groups such as national service society, nature club, equality club, women's club, dance club etc were available. Also counselling centre too available.
Admission :
The admission process was quite strict. Mainly if you are opting for an English graduation course then your speaking skills and language handling ability would be tested. The application form was available on their website and fees for each semester would be 13000 or more. The eligibility for this course is higher secondary.
