The nature and environment of the college is good.Good atmosphere for studying.
Faculties are good and well experienced.

Dislikes

College is in a remote area and the transportation facilities are not that good here.
The placement opportunities are less but it is improving

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose computer science engineering because I can do better in learning about software , coding and languages. If you are interested to learn more about software than hardware , then computer science may serve you well. The exams are a bit difficult .You haveto work hard to get good grades.

Class Size : 70Course Fees : INR 9650 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Our college provides many internship opportunities in both online and offline modes.Paud and free internships are provided.These internship programs are certified by the Students can also go for internship themself.

Placement Experience :

Placements drives here are improving year by year.College provide necessary facilities to attend the placement in the neighbouring colleges. Placement cell is there and provide placement classes, share information about the upcoming placements and registration criteria.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

At the time of admission in college,you have to pay Rs 12800 as institutional fees.Relaxarions are provided for sc/st category. If you got admission in college hostel, hostel fee is around Rs 9000. University fees remitted at the college is Rs 4800.

Campus Life :

In our college,there are events like tech fest,arts fest, magazine release,celebrations like Diwali , valentine's day, Halloween day ,holi, and many more . The college has a large library with more than 1000 books and there are department libraries also and other part of library is a quiet and students can read and study peacefully. Sport and arts are very active . There are clubs including social groups such as KARMA that help the students with poor economic background.

Hostel Facilities :

In our college ,there are two ladies hostels and a hostel for men.The seats for students are limited in college hostel,so there is allotment each year. Allotment is based on annual income , distance and sgpa.The college hostel is every nice ,clean and have good rooms.A room for 4 students and a dormitory for 8 students are here.The corridor and bathroom are cleaned everyday by goverment staffs .The college hostel provide best meal compared to other private hostels.Menu is flexible according to the needs of students . It is decided by frequent meeting held in hostel itself. There are many private hostels nearby for students who didn't get hostel . There is college bus for hostelers and day scholars.

Hostel Fee : INR 9000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility of the course is KEAM entrance exam.After higher secondary education, you have to apply for KEAM. CEE Kerala will announce the KEAM registration process.The authority will activate the KEAM registration link on their website at cee.kerala.gov.in. KEAM exam aspirants have to fill out the application form of KEAM 2024 in online mode. Moreover, candidates must check and meet the eligibility criteria before applying online. The candidates must have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and Chemistry/computer science/biology as one of the optional subjects with atleast 45% marks put together in the subjects are eligible for admission. The amount of the application fee will be based on the category selected by the candidate. General/OBC - 875 SC - 375 ST - Nil You have to prepare well as it's a competitive exam so that you can apply as your choice for course and college

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
