Sports arena is quite big and good for most sports.
Mess food is good and hygiene is maintained.

Course Curriculum Overview :

First year is common for all branch students which includes a little knowledge and courses of all branches. As I am currently a first year student so I am not much sure about the upcoming courses in 2nd, 3rd and 4th year.

Class Size : 10Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Almost every big mnc including google visits for on-campus internships. I don't have the exact number but I meet many seniors doing intern in Google and other reputated companies in the 3rd year summer break.

Placement Experience :

IIT Patna has top notch placements among IITs. It can catch up with the placements of top 7 iits with an average package around 23-24 lakhs. CSE branch average package is 38 Lakhs Per Annum. Almost every big MNC visits for camous placement.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Academic fees is about 2 Lakhs per year and rest fees like transport fee, gymkhana fee, mess fee, hostel fee sum up to about 50 thousands per year. Other than this you also have to pay 40 thousand to josaa at the time of councelling from which 35 thousand is refundable.

Campus Life :

Overall campus life is great with all basic facilities like gym, buses, big 750 acres campus. Cultural and technical clubs are quite active. IIT Patna is known for its great coding culture. Sports complex is quite good.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are big and good enough for triple sharing in first year. From 2nd year, room size decreases and rooms become double sharing. Third year also have double sharing rooms but final year students get single sharing rooms.

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

One has to clear jee advanced to get admission in IIT Patna. To appear for jee advanced one has to clear jee mains first which happens twice a year. Selected candidates can sit for jee advanced which happens once a year.

Seventh semester student is eligible for the campus placement and almost 40 percent student get placement of every branch . Some companies come for placement but these companies are start up company not so big.And the average package provided by these companies are approx 3.5 lakh per annum

My Course duration is of 4 years in which there are 8 Semesters , ideally each Semester should be of 6 months but here in our bihar Engineering the semesters are always late .we are given 8-9 months for almost each semester.

College from my sight.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd year I can see that most with the Student start the flying for internship and placement well my college is not that we don't get any campus placement most of us are paced by company which visit institution. Many big companies like grow Tata etc also visit in our campus for placements and they even recruit. Will our placement percentage is very good which is almost 97 98% are getting placed in electronics and communication branch for computer science and engineering it is almost 100% and the placement average above 15 lakhs S4 the electronic and communication branch the placement goes beyond 10 lakh as average. In the initial days when I got admission the highest placement offered was 45 lakhs 7 students by Amazon. But right now I in the institution and I am very great to know that my senior from the 3rd year which got a PPO of 89 lakhs and other one got a PPO of 83 lacs. When for me my plans after graduation is that I should get a good placement and I have not bigger plans.

best college in bihar if you are looking for government college at low percentile

Placement Experience:

placemnet of this college is not much better in campus pool but you take placement through alumi of this college ultratech , infosis etc . 50 percentage student get placed you can plan for gate exam to take job in psu etc.

Placement Experience:

Campus placements start in Aug-Sep and run till Dec-Jan. Students are eligible to sit after the 6th semester. Some companies which visited campus in 2022-2023 placements are: Amazon(7 offers), BYJU's(4 offers), BeeHyv(3 offers), C-DOT (2 offers), Deloitte, Jio Incocomm(6 offers), Macquarie (3 offers), Public Sapients, Synopsis(5 offers), Smart Coin(3 offers), Samsung SDS (5 offers), Nxtwave, Ambient Scientific, etc The avg package for 2022-23 is 15.6 LPA and highest package 46LPA by Amazon Almost 99% of student gets placed. After 4th-semester students are eligible for internship. companies like HCl Wipro npdcl Cisco came here for placement. recently a student got a package of Rs 3000000. About 70% of students get placed. I have planned to UPSC preparation after getting my BTech degree.
