Campus is not as developed as you would expect from IITs. Still good however.
Location is not that good. A little far from main city patna.

Course Curriculum Overview :

Maths and computing covers all the relevant domains in the current world of computer science, while also laying a strong foundation on the maths required to enhance the understanding of areas like ML , AI and such.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Almost all companies visiting campus for placements, also visit for internship. Google, Goldman Sachs, etc visit. Roles like Software development engineer, Data scientist, a few consultant roles etc are offered .

Placement Experience :

3rd year onwards, students are eligible for placements, while internships are offered 2nd year onwards. A student can apply off campus anytime. Google, sprinklr, oracle etc visit the campus. Almost all students land a job.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee remains around the same, across all IITs. No hikes in few as such. Around 12-14 lakhs is the complete fee, including all expenses. Many scholarship opportunities are provided based on merit, category, income etc.

Campus Life :

Anwesha- IIT Patna's cultural fest, happens around February. Celesta- IIT Patna's technical fest happens around November. Infinito- IIT Patna's s sports fest happens around October. Library is well equipped with most of the required book. Sports facilities are decent, covering almost all major sports.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel is decent, all basic facilities are provided. Room has 2 large cupboards, 3 table and chair pairs, 3 bedsheet, and is to be shared among 3 students. Meals provided are fine, menu covers a good bit of all regional dishes, including South.

Hostel Fee : INR 12000 per year

Admission :

Qualified jee advanced with decent rank. Apply through JOSAA counselling. You will be given an offer letter for admission upon being alloted the college after round 6. JEE Mains twice an year. Jee advanced once an year, given that you have qualified for it through mains.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was interested in this course for a very long time. Faculty members are very good here, they taught us very well all respective courses. All are very well-qualified teachers here with Ph.D. degrees from reputed colleges. Every semester duration is of 6months and this course is not very easy but not also very tough.

Internship opportunities

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placement after the 5th sem. A lot of services and core companies visit here like Alstom, TCS, HCl, Infosys, etc. Alstom offered 7.2 LPA to 15 students. Last year more than 50 percent of the students were placed. The placement is 100% in its branch. I am planning for higher education.

Remarks:

One of the oldest college of India where you can see old buildings which awesome architect the campus is also added with many new buildings along with student activity center (SAC). The campus is very near to river bank of ganga which adds a lot to the beauty of campus

My experience with my college

Remarks:

It is a growing college with an aim to promote quality education amongst the students of Bihar. It is creating a peaceful environment for the students to explore their areas of interest. It is going to be a great college in the future.

Admission:

I appeared for the entrance exam that is CUCET which is required for the admission. The college considers the composite scores of CUCET along with the 10+2 marks in the science stream wherein physics and mathematics are the compulsory subjects.
