Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose btech in electrical and electronics engineering . But I really wanted to study btech in computer science . My rank is not enough for that . So I didn't get admission in computer science engineering .So I took electrical and electronics engineering .For today and future there is big scope for electrical engineers because nowadays all vehicles are becoming electrical because they are releasing very less pollution compared to other normal vehicles .Electrical vehicles didn't need fossil fuels like petrol or diesel for travelling .We only have to charge the vehicle. And electric vehicles are easy to travel and charge .So we have electrical labs for practical works .Exams are also conducted for labs.In each semester we have 2 internal exams for internal marks .It was about 2 hours duration. Semester exams have three hours duration. Compared to internal exams semester exam are more tough. We have no internal exam for laboratories, main semester exams are conducted directly. So the over

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

My semester fee was about seventy thousand . For my four years ( 8 semester) I need about four to five lakhs .Compared to other colleges in kerala cochin university of science and technology and school aof engineering has high semester fee. The colleges under ktu have only ten thousand rupees for each semester.Compared to such colleges Cusat fee is very high. And after that I have to spent money for stay and food . There are scholarship based on annual income of family , but I cant apply for that because my family income greater than that.

Campus Life :

I heard that there are many programs in cusat before joining there . but after I joined there was only 3 programs including youth festival.and we didn't have any programs for a because an accident was happened during our tech fest . four people died.Because pf that issue we didn't have any programs in our college . and also our college for suspended for almost one month.I there are many social groups for students to join

Admission :

Eligibility of the course was having minimum 50 percentage in physics , chemistry and maths subjects in 12th board exam and having a good rank in CAT entrance exam for CUSAT .All the details about admissions are given in the website of CUSAT.I didn't get any reservation. The entrance exam was about 3 hour duration .Each subject having 1 hour. Exam was not that bad compared to KEAM .I got admission in the last spot admission conducted by Cusat. The students having SC/ST reservation without good rank got admission in cse and other streams .And students attained good mark in entrance exam didn't get admission to that streams because of they have no such reservation. Here importance is given to caste more than marks od students . Thats is not appropriate. I think there was atleast 5 to 6 spot adimissions conducted in cusat . I went for all and spend full day there with no use. So my major suggestion was to conduct the spot admissions through online platforms.Once they conducted through on

Placement Experience:

The placements are more than decent as you get many opportunities to land a job before graduation. Provided you don't have backpapers which most companies wouldn't want in their candidates. Service-based companies such as TCS and Accenture take loads of students per year and pretty high-end companies visit too.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course curriculum mainly focuses on the technical side of the subject being an engineering course. Mathematical models play a significant role in developing and extrapolating the syllabus to application level. Life sciences are also there as core subjects and electives in higher semesters. It heavily encompasses the general relevant technical aspects of modern biotechnology too.
