The college was near my house. I used to travel through local train.

Exams. University delay exams. Many times they changed the exam routine.
No placement support. No clubs. No fests.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My score in mathematics in class 12 was 92. Therefore I choose to do hons in this subject. Honestly speaking this course is not good. The curriculum didn't prepare me for real word applications. Some faculty members were good. In this course the university should some topics on AI/ML or data science.

Class Size : 45Course Fees : INR 17305 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fee is too less. In my time from 2020-2023 the total fee was around Rs-17305( including exam fees). Scholarship is available for merit students i.e. SVMCM scholarship that gives rs-18000 per year. You have to maintain good score in each year. That means if you a meritorious student we can give the expenses from your scholarship.

Campus Life :

Don't expect any festivals from this college. I think books are available is the library. In our mathematics lab, many computers didn't work. We had inter semester quiz competition in the mathematics day. In out department we don't have any clubs, social groups. Especially because covis was there .

Admission :

Admission process was super easy. Just apply and wait for the lists. There is no specific entrance exam. Admission is will be in basis of 12th score. In my time, many lists were out. You need science subjects in your class 12th. You can find the forms in the website of the college. Reservation is there. Semester exams are moderate to difficult.

Advantages of joining Adamas University

Placement Experience:

The placements provided by adamas university are really good, it basically depends on the student and his own knowledge and skills, but still the placements of adamas are really good. For biochemistry, placements are good only after masters. After Bsc there are jobs but they won't pay that much which you can get after completing Msc. And there are very few jobs of biochemistry in India. But you'll have a great scope in abroad.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

Remarks:

This college still today stands to be among the first choice of every student in the hooghly district and 2nd in the Burdwan University. The only negative part is that this college has a very high political presence in the campus. Though the present government said that they oppose such strong political holds in colleges but still this words has not been kept.
