- Campus life is awesome. Students are very good and there is no bad vibes from the side of students. Most of the teachers dont have partiality. They treats everyone as same .
- College also provides add on courses for the betterment of students.
Dislikes
- There is only science based coarses. They should also include art based coarses too.
- Teachers are not friendly(not all of them).
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this coarse because i love geography. But it was not as same as i learnt in my higher secondary. But it also includes the continuation of +2 geography.The curriculum enables us for real world applications like Calculating time of different areas and the intensity of wind and weather symbols and also make us capable to identify types of rock. Actyally teaching method should be improved. Many interesting topics are turning into boring ones. They are conducting exams regularly to modify oru knowledge
Internships Opportunities :
College gives informations about internship programs. None of them is paid but certificate is issued to the students who have participated. College should also include paid internship because many student are staying at hostels are there is shortage of money.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
They take around rupees 5000 for admission and pta fund. Still we dont know what they do with this fund . Students with reservation do not hsve to pay semester fees and exam fees. Many scholarships are provided for students with annual income less than 100000 like e grands. They are not responsible for giving the jobs to students.
Campus Life :
Fests are always there in the college and the college union put maximum efforts to make the fest a success. College library has many coarse orientated books and a lot of previous year question papers. They also have rare and very old books.there are many clubs like ncc nss nature club literary club etc. most of them provide a fund for us
Hostel Facilities :
There is no hostel facilities within the college. Hostels are available near the college itself. Most of the hostels have a fee of 6500. Some of the hostel provide good food and accommodation and value the privacy of students. Not all the hostels give good food . A hostel near the college treats the student very badly and gives no freedom to the students. I recommend a hostel called amala bhavan . It is near the college .
Admission :
Bsc geography is a very good coarse but it is difficult to score marks. It is job oriented. It can be in many field after tsking geography. We can perform very well in upsc exams. It enables critical thinking and there are many interesting features to learn . We can get the application form online or from the college itself . Scholarships are not available for everyone.The admission process is ok. It doesn't have any lag and doesnt take a lot of time for proving admission
