Remarks :
One of the positive remark is, we got B grade by NACC.This is one of the proudful moment. And there is alsp negative side.our college dome give much courses. There is only 7 courses and only 2 post graduation course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is good. University offer semester system and 1 year have 2 semester. Totally after graduation we go through 6 semester. The duration of one semester is 6 month. And the university follows a strict syllabic and they are trying to complete with in the given period of time.but some times they are failed to attain this time period.
Placement Experience :
Our college doesn't give any placement. But the students got a good name on the badis of the college which they studied. Government college kariyavattom is a good college and alaways gives a backbone for the students who appear for a job interview
College Events :
My college celebration almost all the events. The main fest is onam celebration, and known as chingam fest. This is department wise competition. This is a two day fest with full of energy and celebrate with joyful. Then there come diwali fest,. All the events and fest are department wise competition. After diwali fest there is november fest and christmas fest. Then come the festival of lovers, valentine 's fest. Last one is college arts day. It is a5 days program with 3 offstage and2onstage program. After this fest we can know which department won the overall. Last event is college day, in this occasion distribute the overall winning trophy. Besides thete are youthful sports fest, and union programs. These make my college a heaven.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Fee structure is feasible. They don't brought much fee. And the university offer different type of scholarship for brilliant students. And there is also an egrants for economically and socially backward students. So we don't pay fee.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
My college offers many scholarly. They are, suvarnajubilee merit scholarship, centre sector scholarship, state merit scholarship, district merit scholarship, hindi scholarship, sanskrit scholarship, samunnathi scholarship, aspire scholarship, snehapoorvam scholarship, etc. I got suvarnajubilee merit scholarship for 3 years.
Campus Life :
My college has a NCC and NSS(National Service Scheme )units. And their works are very good. On the last reputed day a student from my college got a selection for the participation for the republic day camp in New delhi, and this is a proud ful moment. The sports meet is also good. Our college students participate differen.t intercollegiate sports competition and got many prizes.
Alumni/Alumna :
Yes our seniors are very helpful for every things.They give their full participation in all kind of events in the college, and give valuable information to improve the situation. There is a blood donation group and it is completely controlled by the seniors
Admission :
Through allotment conducted by kerala university. University prepare a rank list on the basis of mark obtained in the higher secondary level, and also there is index mark based on the course we select. There are 3 main allotment and a trial allotment. My name came in the first allotments and i confirm my admission
Faculty :
My college is a government college, so there are some limitations. But the the teaching and non teaching staffing give a good support for the children. Our college is developing college. Teachers and students are alaways trying to keep a good relationship. And thus bring the good results in my college.
