Remarks :

It is a good college for students who are academically brilliant.

Entrance Preview :

This college is affiliated to the University of Calicut and Kerala technological University. It is located in a location which is easily accessible by road and rail. It is a good college in Palakkad.College bus facilities are available throughout the neighbouring places.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is very good as compared with the quality of technical education provided by colleges in other states. In Kerala, the syllabus followed is very tough and the exam valuation system is not liberal. So only a studious student will get out from the system without having arrears.

Internships Opportunities :

No my college does not provide internship opportunities currently. We didn't get any such thing during our study tenure.

Placement Experience :

The college started its operation in the year 2010. It's a new college. The placement records are very poor. The college is not able to provide job opportunities even for the successful candidate. This is a major downside of the college. The college needs to improve in this matter.

College Events :

A number of events and celebrations are conducted each year in every Engineering college. Here the festival of Onam is celebrated grandly. Students come dressed in traditional attires and have a good day. Arts festival is conducted every year. Also, the technical fest is conducted every year.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure for students who are affiliated with University of Calicut is expensive when compared with the fee structure of the students affiliated with Kerala technological University. Year out system is also present in the Ktu system which allows students to drop engineering.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

No I didn't get any scholarship. Educational loan assistance will be provided by the college. Education loan is a big burden.

Campus Life :

It offers an average campus life. As Engineering is a stream in which there is so much work to be done, students hardly get time to enjoy the college life. A national service scheme unit is active in the college which conducts socially relevant seminars and conferences.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel building is situated inside the college. It is a small buliding. It C accommodate roughly 300 students. Seperate hostel buildings are provided for boys and girls. The hostel provides good quality food. The food is prepared in the college mess.It is delicious.

External Expense : Rs.10000 - Rs.15000

Alumni/Alumna :

Yes an alumni network is present in the college. A meeting of the alumni members were conducted last year.

Exam Structure :

Exams are conducted at regular intervals. There will be two internal examinations and one model examination before the students face the actual University exam. Other activities such as assignments and quick test are also used for assessment of the student.

Admission :

The admission process consists of a state level Engineering entrance exam which is called Kerala Engineering And Medical Entrance exam. Students can register for the exam after completing their higher secondary education in science stream.The exam has two papers one science and the other mathematics.

Faculty :

The faculty of my college are good. They have a qualified academic background and experience.Most of them are having doctorate while the others have a Master's degree in engineering.They are knowledgeable and helpful to transfer their knowledge to the students.

The Rajagiri engineering experience

Placement Experience:

The students become eligible for the campus placements in the 6th semester. The average students getting placed in the mechanical department are about 30%. My plan after completing my mechanical engineering degree is to go for masters in business administration

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
