Course Curriculum Overview :

I'm doing in electrical engineering it's based on electric equipment and we do have lab practicals every week alternate days and lab equipment are well defined and staffs well behaved and there are certain exhibitions that mainly occur once in a month students from other colleges can participate and prizes are also distributed to winners it helps us being creative and helps in increasing knowledge it also gives chances to students to perform in other colleges it makes students creative and it's a place where students can show their skills and abilities and even improve the skills they also have scope of joining company's if they do excellent projects.

Internships Opportunities :

College does provide internship and it is like one month average amount is like depends around 10-15000 I never went to any internship so I probably don't know anything about, yeah but I have friends who did this I never got any chance to ask them or maybe I was too dumb not to ask them about it but I know a little bit it's about practicing or.a kind of working in. a company as it increases skills and also helps in dealing with other mates and also helps in improving the chances of getting.a good job.

Placement Experience :

Placement mostly takes during the final year and we do have some placement training during our 2 and 3 years as to make us prepare during and it is beneficial it improves talking skills interacting skills it helps in acquiring many things major companies may be like Wipro and many others etc.

College Events :

Onam celebration arts celebration Christmas celebration and at last FAREWELL.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

I'm a management student and per year I have to pay 70000 as my tuition fee or college fee and there are other things like bus fee and many other schedules as to round up it will be around 75000 and there are merit seats they have 35000 this is probably done According to ranking that is given during exam students with good rank will only get to pay 35000 and last rankers like me get to pay 70000 and there are many other quotas for SC ST and many others they don't have to pay anything except for their bus fare there are quotas for Muslims too

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

I don't have any loans but college does provide help in getting a loan.

Hostel Facilities :

Most students reside in the hostel and I'm telling about my hostel it comprises of 7 blocks each block capable of accommodating at least 18 students we pay monthly fees and it's around 4000 and food is not too good just fine won't have to sleep empty stomach.

External Expense : Rs.4000 - Rs.7000

Faculty :

Teachers are well educated mostly MTech graduates they are well interacted with students and are well behaved and are good with lectures also well prepared for any doubts takes initiative in making students to ask doubt and are also helpful in other activities other than studies and are supportive and encourages students for good things and less strict and lectures are accurate and in English and the way of speaking is as per the students can grasp it without even writing and also encourages students to raise questions and they have a good way of presenting lectures and they never misbehave with students as they know respect is all about give and take.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
