Course Curriculum Overview :
I had been assigned electronics and instrumentation course. First year it is common for every engineering students, which is also the best way to score your cgpa. Attendance is the important thing in here, minimum of 75 percent attendance is compulsary, do not try to play with it, you may pay a heavy fine. You may also not be able to sit for exams so be careful. I learnt about the basic of the electronics, they also prepare for the interviews. The difficulty in here is you may expect teachers are the best, they give notes, attendance. If you think so then you're wrong, you went get notes, you may have to make your own. This is same in all the colleges. We have three internals of 25 marks each, the time period is 1 hour for each subject, there will be. 6 subject in each semester and we have 8 semester, 2 for each year. You need to learn coding from external source.
Internships Opportunities :
There are many companies who gives you the internship, the common one is google, but it is eligible from 3rd year. It depends on the college if you do a good job, you may also get a good stipened amount. From third we have to prepare for projects. As it plays important role in getting you a job. It shows you how much practically fit you are.
Placement Experience :
In third year a person is eligible for the placement, there will be a training course for every semester. You need not have any arrears or backlogs to get into Placement, you need have minimum of 7cgpa. My plans is to study some coding course and score good marks.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As I went through cet and I was obc 2a cast. My fee was 43k per year. It may vary from college to college. There will be exam fees for each semester , which may depend on college. Also if you fail there is another fee to pay forr you to write exam. Total will be a 50k for me, including tution fee, exam fee. There will be a lot of scholarship you need to get into, the common one is ssp scholarship. I'm in second year so there is no internship yet for me.
Campus Life :
There will be a lot of fests in college, we have four feat per year. Where any person can participate and enjoy. They are held two for a semester. There is a library where we can get any subjects notes and it is abundant. In classrooms we have a projectors, which we use when in need. There is also sports under vtu, you may get selected for any of it. There are clubs or you may form your own use your intelligence
Admission :
I went thought cet entrance exam, after writing the entrance exam(cet), we get our rank. Then there is a phase where we get college according to our rank. And i got amabedkar Institute of technology, later we have to go get the admission in the college. I won't say it's tough but managable for 18 year old boy. We have to submit all the documents there which includes sslc marks card, pu marks card, caste certificate, adhar card( yourself, parents). Then you need to pay the fee that is assigned to you. I didn't have any reservation but sc and st people are the lucky ones. Cet exams pattern is 60 mins of three subject with 60 question each. So you get one minute per question. The papers were average, most of it is formula based. The three subjects are physics, math, chemistry. My advice is if you are attempting jee Or neet, please do focus on cet as a back up and dont neglect it.
