Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is indeed great. Nursing is a field with a vast opportunities all around the world. And also we are exposed to clinical duty from our first year of college itself so we get a very excellent working experience. Teaching methods were a bit lazy but now new teachers have joined and all is going great. The timings of exams will twice a year, semester exams. And also 3 internal assessment exams every year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is originally 85k every year and it's a 4year long course. Along with that we have to pay seperate donation fees and also pay for the uniforms. For those opting hostels 75000 is per year fees. Scholarships can be requested according to financial background. There is no internship options. But it's possible to join the hospital as a staff nurse soon after the course. As we have a well accredited hospital where we've already had clinical practice it'll be easier and more convenient.

Campus Life :

The infrastructure is good but extracurricular activities are limited to nill. The college focuses mainly on theory and practical learning of the students. And celebrations and club activities and literally not there. This can impact a student life in a good way and also a bad way. Changes have come from this year as now we have freshers day nurses week celebrations which include culture programs and also sports day. And also graduation day.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel facilities and not great but okay. But they are not justifiable to the fees we pay. We get a lot of pg and apartments to rent near the college for much cheaper and affordable rates. Registration for hostels can be done along with the admission procedure. And also we can quit the hostel after one year if not comfortable. We give a 10000 rupees as a deposit which we'll get back at the end of the course.

Admission :

I took admission through an agent and the eligibility criteria is a 12th pass certificate for science major. Now there is an entrance exam which is compulsory tk attend before availing admission. My batch was yearly batch but now it's semester batches. So per year we'll have 2 sem exams and 3 internal assessment exams. Exams are under the rguhs university. And college is having a well equipped hospital in the campus itself which is NABH accredited.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The sem exams are held every six months. Nurses are to treat and take care of the patients which should be highly respected. But in colleges there should be more practicals and demo/ practice classes than theory classes.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The mentors are strict but also friendly with students. Course is little bit tough to pass. I chose this course because of its high profile in society. Good salary abroad. Girls are more number than boys. Teachers are MSC holders and Ph.D. holders. Teaching methods are easily adaptable .internal exams are done per 3 months and it's a little difficult to pass exams.

Admission:

I got admission to the college on merit basis. Students are called for the counselling on the basis of their marks in class 12. Admission process was pretty smooth and the administration was very helpful during the counselling.

Placement Experience:

Placement assistance is not provided by the college, as such. But students can enrol for the six month internship from the hospital. Although, a pass-out from our college never faces any issue regarding job.
