Remarks :
A bit too traditional but things are looking up now.
Entrance Preview :
CAT i scored 93 , I had chosed BIM mainly for its placement performance and relatively lower cost of the course
Internships Opportunities :
I had done internship at MS Cholamandalam , stipend was 10k . There were quite a few companies but internship is a gamble particularly for freshers but internship is taken care by the college itself.
Placement Experience :
Placement is a done deal you would get a good job with a decent salary and off late I am given to understand the profiles have also improved a lot.
College Events :
There are events for Finance marketing HR and students are encouraged to participate in other college events too. Cultural events are quite plentiful apart from sports related events usually one each for every trimester.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
It was 4.5 lakhs for education and hostel when i studied now it has increased but I am not sure of the current structure but I heard it was close to 9 lakhs which is good return on investment.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
No as far as I know but loan is available without issues basis admission letter which was good , but it was only with Indian bank so no option by default.
Campus Life :
Extra curricular were functional not exceptional , gym was barely there and the ground was again functional but the place was fun thanks to excellent company.
Hostel Facilities :
Mess food was excellent but more inclined to south Indian taste. It was a student mess so it was good in that way where would be able to give feedback regularly
Alumni/Alumna :
Alumni network is decent but not extensive , As just now most alumni have started to enter senior management and subsequent batches might benefit more than we ever did.
Exam Structure :
Trimester mode , there wasnt too much pressure on exams due to continuous assessments, Lab exams were less frequent.
Faculty :
I was lucky to get a good batch of faculty but got to say most of them have retired and I am not aware of the quality of the current set of professors.
