Campus life is vey good here at thapar and lively and vibrant
Facilities porvided, library is huge and has all the books one can think of

There needs to be some kind of rule for attendance
More enthusiatic teachers are needed, some of them just don't want to teach

Course Curriculum Overview :

the course curriculum is commendable for its relevance but as there is no attendece students don't attend classes and teachers loose interest in teaching and lectures become boring for the students who are attending . learning should be more application based , so does assignments

Class Size : 30Course Fees : INR 200000 per year

Placement Experience :

I understand that there is a placement cell available here, but recently, the placements have not been very good. The students are suffering, and everyone is worried due to the impact of AI in the tech industry. The overall average package that I observed was around 800000.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

each sem we have to pay pee around 2.3 L to 2.6 L , there are scholarships available for scholars and who are finencisaly week , free is quit high for the education i would say but rest of the facilities are good. i don't think there are any campus employment opportunities for UG students

Campus Life :

campus life is good , there are gound and sport complex and events keep on happening , there if plenty of space though that is decreasing day by new hostels are being made , and restrictions have increased quite in past few months i would say but overall campus life good here

Hostel Facilities :

hostels are provided , though expensive like it is around 10000 per month and then mess free is on top of that, but the hostels are good , 24hr electricity , water .mess menu is good food is decent but way better than other colleges , clean and healthy but they don't give snacks and no fruits are provided

Hostel Fee : INR 50000 per year

Admission :

it was easy , just went to college site , filled the admission form , in the form they ask about +2 and jee mains marks and then after some weeks (depend) cutoff for the branches are released , there was no enterence test , i got in on the basis of my 10+2 marks , They can do better on the answering queries of applicants as the students have a lot of questions when they apply

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university. The average pakage is 5-6 lakh per annum and the highest package is around 1cr LPA . The campus usually tells us to keep the CGPA more than 7, I will go to foreign country after my degree
