- The infrastructure and sports facility along with management is quite impressive as it is very old college the system is quite stable
- Ratio is around 40:60 40 girls which is quite good according to enginee Colleges
Dislikes
- There is too much of crown which makes events and normal shops very crowded also the pda is a major factor here
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is quite impressive as it is very old college so they have included and have focused on every bit also with time they are changing things and improving it along with they have subject which are just project subject and overall i am satisfied with the course structure
Internships Opportunities :
The internship opportunity are there but as they are less people do get interned and make up to ppo too but due to less opportunities you'll have to get a good cgpa to be eligible but the package reach upto 1lac too so they are quite good
Placement Experience :
The placement this year is quite impressive we have 1.23 cr of highest package and 2 student got it the average is around 16 lakh of college the computer branches and electronic branches are quite well but I'll suggest to reconsider your decision to come in core or bio tech branches here consider going to some low college instead thapar core
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee structure of my college is we pay fee 2 times a year which means each semester and fee gets increased a bit every year i paid 283000 recently and it is of 2 nd year and it will further inc in fourth year upto 306000
Campus Life :
The campus life actually is way more interesting the main fest is saturnalia and and fest like tff urja happens also sports fest is there Thaparlympics and overall around 60 societies are there whixh imare continuously arranging events
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities also are very good there are yt videos of almost every hostel of thapar we have a chair a bed and a almirahs light at table overall hostel are good food is also good but no non veg except egg there
Admission :
I applies for jee bits vit and manipal i chose this college because i live close to it also i found out that thapar is good college as compared to some also I didn't gave vit exam and got rejection from bita due to low score the admission process of my college contains 50 % admissions from jee and other half from boards
Faculty :
The faculty members are of vast variety some are too good some are not but the labs teacher are very friendly and some professors are very good and faculty to student ratio is around 150 and faculty are very much approachable as we know theri offices and we can visit there there are twice exams every semester mid sem and end sem also there are sessional also one week prior of exams which contain of further evaluation like quiz or small test or lab evaluation so the marking scheme is 15 sessional one before mis sem 30 marka mis sem 15 sessional 2 then 40 end sem marking differs subject to subject but it is the most common one and strict marking or loose depends on subject too
