What I like the most here is my course faculty and the professors

There's a lot room to develop here as for extracaricuular activities.
They should redevelop the college campus.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I want to pursue research area so I opt for this course of zoology. The proffesers are great here and excellent at their job. One flaw is that there is not really much internship opportunities here in this college.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 20000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Many companies come here once a year for placements and all. Like TCS is the most common one here. There's a good chance for computer related course students. As for internship they don't provide any here in campus!

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Because it's a government college so the fees is quite low compared to other colleges. And also it's a womens college so the fees are comparatively low. Also they provide many scholarships in here (mainly govt. ones).

Campus Life :

There's a lot flaws in the social and club perspectives. Not really much club options are available here to join, which is sad. Same goes to extracaricuular activities. As for classroom development the college is quite old but have smart classrooms with projectors. But as a womens college this one is a better option compared to other womens colleges in the area.

Hostel Facilities :

You need to share a room with 4 peoples. Teh rooms are quite big and clean too. The also cleans the room and toilets twice in a week. Also the fees are low here. The menu is quite good compared to other hostels or PG out there. They provide some decent home cooked meals here. For hostel registration, it's available online while filling up the form for the course.

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

Minimum eligibility for my course was 80% in 10+2 for general category. There's a reservation category is also present. The application forms will be available online once the addmission process starts. There's no entrance exam for addmission in the college.

At present, there are 9 teachers and 25 students in our year. To clear the exams you need to read class notes and books properly.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The Course curriculum & faculty members are quite good, 1st of all I have preferred Bsc Biotech because of my extreme interest in genetic engineering & upcoming situations of Covid 19. Also, this subject has a possibility for a Blooming future in the upcoming days of the Pandemic/epidemic. The Faculty in This college is quite good & The laboratory benefits & materials are also Supportive & workable, This college provides one of the oldest Biotech labs in West Bengal. The student ratio is also balanced. Saying about Qualification of the faculty, The Professors have atleast 6-10 yrs of teaching exp and research performs in their career, they are all friendly & supportive and helps us to explore more in this subject The term exams are Moderate & have standard questions.

In this graduation college final semester, students get some placements or internships. Some companies came to final year students to take a brief interview. If they pass in this they got a job offer. They offered Rs 20000 every month. 60% of students are getting placements.
