Midnapore College is an autonomous college, established in the year 1873. It is the oldest college in Midnapore affiliated with Vidyasagar University. It has been given autonomous status by University Grants Commission (UGC). The college runs various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in multiple disciplines. Admission:
In our college, they considered 12th marks, especially math marks. The application form is find on college website 45% of the seats are reserved for sc, st, obc, also they get more scholarships. According to me, it is one of the top colleges in West Bengal, so if it can take admission tests separately. it will be the best. because if a student gets low marks in 12 for any reasons, they can't get a chance in this college.

Firstly you need to fill up the form online then you have to wait for a period of time. After waiting for the time. The merit list will be published thats all from my side. Thank you very much for giving me this opportunity

There is no need to attempt any exam under college. There's is need to have science stream with math. If anyone get 75% in math they can eligible for this course. If you got 90 above in math then you got chance in 1st round

After completing the hs exam you will find the application from on college website then after filling this from within next 1-2 week you will get the list of short listed students,the avg cut off for students within 60%.

- I like the discipline maintaining of the college, greenary of the campus, different sections's availability.
- We get filtered water. There are enough fans & lights in the classrooms. The benches are very well in most of the classrooms.

- The autocratic nature of the autonomous college, they like their rules more than the students.
- They take too much exams. We have to write more marks questions in internal in less times.
Admission:
• 65% marks from honours subject in graduation is the eligibility rule. • I have found the application form and other details from the college website. • Yes we think you don't get enough time for the examination. We have to sit in e exam after every one and a half month. Yes questions are little difficult. It is not possible to complete our syllabus. We have to clear 2 internal exams and 1 final exam in each semester. • It is a good process for admission after taking an entrance exam. They also valued the previous exam's marks.

The admission process is based on the Number of H.S Exam and here the cutoff goes to very high . I think 1000 student fill up the form and only 120 to 130 student get the chance to enter this college.

You have to qualify 12th Then in the college website the admission form is given . The admission starts from August September month. Exams are held in every 6 months and the level of exams are quite difficult

- Their are lack of teaching stuff in our department.Infrastructure is not so well .
- The behaviour of librarian is rude and the processing management is so time consuming.

I applied for 3 colleges but my first choice is Midnapore College because I came to know that the department of mathematics is too great and it is good fit for my academics. The admission process of my College was so fair . Atfirst we have to know the application deadlines then I have to submit transcript and 12th standard marksheet and some personal documents. The application fee is 5000 rupees. The admission process is based on merit list of 12 standard. I was selected and it offered me a great comfortable financial package. Overall I found no fault in this admission process, it was so great.

Midnapore college was my first choice college because the department of mathematics is very great and it was good fit for my academics .We were selected by merit list of 12th standard. The admission process in my college was so energetic. At first I selected this college, enroll my name in the admission process. Then I had to submit transcripts, 12th standard marksheet and some personal documents. I applied and then I decided to go to this college. This college offered me the best financial packege.I found the application form from my college website and the application fee are 5000 rupees. overall it was so fantastic. I didn't find any fault in this admission process. Everything was so smoothing.

You can get admission through online in midnapore college website. www . midnapore college.ac.in There has some reservations for sc and sc students. If you score about 80% above then you can secure your seat. Exam is so easy and teachers are so Frank. No entrance exam will held for ug admission. Admission proceed through hs exam.
