Sarojini Naidu College for Women (SNCW) is situated in the northern suburb parts of Kolkata. It is considered one of the first institutions for women’s education in this part which was established on 14th August 1956. Now the college is officially under the affiliation of West Bengal State University (WBSU). SNCW Kolkata is a Government-sponsored college, approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC). We did not have to take any entrance exam as we got admission based on our marks in Higher secondary exams. I did not have sociology in Higher secondary so I got addmission for having 87.3% marks in pure science

Minimum eligibility for my course was 80% in 10+2 for general category. There's a reservation category is also present. The application forms will be available online once the addmission process starts. There's no entrance exam for addmission in the college.

The eligibility cut off was 45%. The application form was available in the college website itself. No application fees was required as the application process was completely online and also because the process was during the pandemic situation.
