Course Curriculum Overview :

Well, I guess mechanical is a good course to choose for this college. Practical learning is great as we have many workshops for this course. You will have programs for this but not included in course and there will be separate charges for it.

Internships Opportunities :

Well, I don't have clarity on this one. I still have two years left for that kinda stuff it well and good if plan it before the second year of your college.

Placement Experience :

Well if you are above average student you get placed based on your performance. And you should not have the backlog. 20-30 consists of last year. Can't tell if it stays that way we never know what is going to happen.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Well if you are a merit student you can get it. Actual cost here is around 1.8l here but you can get 50% scholarship 75% or 85% according to your grades.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes, you will have various scholarships available. Unfortunately, no in my case. based on your performance in the entrance exam or your 12th results. You will minority scholarship.

Hostel Facilities :

There are 2 unfortunately here galaxy and Jupiter. Galaxy is an old hostel like really old (approx 20-30years). And then there is Jupiter it is still under construction it is a heaven but practical and its a jail. They both cost around 1 lac and I recommend Jupiter as it consists of all the new features. If you're having trouble with the budget you can take a pg outside it costs around 50-60 yearly.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Faculty :

Well, some of my faculty experience is more and they teach perfectly. But everyone has there own weakness. If you are in the first section you get top faculty. Well if behave properly they will be nice. If you think you are bad unfortunately then remember they have more experience than your entire life.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
