The atmosphere and teachers in the department of MCA are very excellent.
The college has the best infrastructure and offers stipends to students based on their marks.

Dislikes

Management provided a fee-free facility for poor students through the trust operated by the college administration.
Our college campus is a bit small when compared to other collegeswifi is too bad and mobile network in the campus is not good.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As I have completed bsc computer science which is a computer science background and I also interested in working in Information technology (IT) so I have choosed MCA course. The areas that covered in MCA is very useful and I have placed in good company with good package. the teacher methods are very very excellent and teaching method is also very good. The frequency and timing of the exams maximum 3 hours. The exams will be moderate.

Class Size : 50Course Fees : INR 100000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

course is INR 2,00,000. This includes the tuition fees, admission fees, caution deposit, library fees, sports fees, etc. Offers job in super dream companies with high package. Students placed in International company like UniTechTransfer GmbH-German Centre for Automation and Robotics, Germany! Students recruited for paid internship like Rs 25000 at Renault Nissan, Chennai. Abdur Rahman University fees for B. Tech ranges from INR 50,000 to INR 2,00,000 per annum. BSARU fees for M.Sc course is INR 30,000 per annum. The fee structure for MBA is INR 1,70,000 per annum. Visible tattoos, ear studs, etc., are not permitted). All students will wear shoes. Female students are requested to wear Salwar Khameez /Kurta with Dhuppatta /head scarves in proper manner. Bathroom slippers are not permitted.

Campus Life :

The central library has 88051 volumes of books in 49473 titles on different disciplines covering all major fields of Engineering, Technology, Law, Health Science, Life Science, Social Science and Humanities. It has a subscription of 281 print journals and magazines and 16243 online journals (ASCE, ASME, IEEE, EBSCO, Elsevier, Royal Society of Chemistry and Springer publications). It has also a subscription to online databases like NPTEL, CMIE and KNIMBUS. In our college, we have Wi-Fi facilities at every place like the canteen, class, hostel, labs, library, auditorium, etc. The food served is really good in the hostel and also in the main canteen.

Admission :

Eligibility for this course is to be complete the bachelors degree like BCA or BSc computer science. Those who completed the BCA and bsc computer science they will doing 2 years MCA course otherwise other areas will do 3 years course in MCA. Went Direct to college and got information and application forms. Everything is good and they will be guiding for each and every step. The application process also they will be followed by each step. First they will check tha 10th and 12th and then graduation degree. Following remaining process will be taken. For my knowledge I don't know about reservations. The exams will be in moderate level. The process now taking place in admission is very excellent no more issues in that.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd semester the students will be placed in campus drive. The college placement team gets a lot of company placements. The companies are TCS, Infosys and so on. The average package is 4.5LPA and the highest package is 7-10LPA in our college placements.

Placement Experience:

For MCA , the internship season starts in the beginning of second year , many famous companies like Uber, GS, Visa ,KLA visit our college . The highest package in MCA placement is 52 LPA and median is 10 LPA. Many students get PPO from the summer internship. The placement percentage for the year 2024 is not that good , but NITT MCA holds a good record of top placements.

Admission:

The candidates need to fill an registration form for applying for the UG and the PG coursed offered in the college with the registration fee.The demand draft should be paid to the Alagappa University Karaikudi. The fee would be reasonable for the application. It has its own entrance exams for all the integrated and post graduate coursed with the personal interview and the group discussion. The final selection of the candidates is done on the basis of the performance in group discussion and personal interview.
