Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum includes concepts from both electronics and computers. Since I did not want to go purely into CSE or EEE, I thought this course will be perfect for me. As mentioned the curriculum teaches students both fields' knowledge and hence can work in both type of fields and have an expertise on both. The teaching methods vary by professor and can be improved by forcing everyone to use more visual based teaching. There are 2 internals and 1 Semester exams. Internals are written for 50 mks and is reduced to 15 mks and Semester exam is written for 100mks and is reduced to 40 mks. The rest of the 30 mks come from Digital Assignments/Quizzes. I feel like there could be an additional optional improvement internals to improve the overall grade in each course.
Internships Opportunities :
I still have no idea about the internship oppertunities since i'm a freshman, but i have heard that students can apply in companies on their own. There are a few times where students' skills have impressed the company members who came for an event and have been offer oppertunities.
Placement Experience :
Since this is my first year of study, I have very little details regarding placements, but there are a fair of companies which have come in the previous years and the package is dependent on the student's skills.
Fees and Financial Aid :
The tution fees depend on the ranking in the entrance exam and popularity of the course. There are 5 categories and C1 fees is around 1.5l and C5 fees is 5l. Based on the ranking you will be able to select the course in the category available.
