I really liked the campus life of college and also all the fests which are organised by institute and various clubs,which gives very much fun.
I liked the infrastructure of the college very much including library also.

In general i dont really dislike anything but competition here among students is really high which gives a lot of mental stress to students.

Course Curriculum Overview :

My branch is Mathematics and Computing. I chose this branch because this branch has the highest average package for the last 5 years in my college ranging between 33 to 38 lpa. During the placement drive 2022 this branch grabbed the highest package of 1.2 cr which is also the highest in overall college and an average package of 38 LPA. The faculty-student ratio is decent and the faculty here are highly qualified but lack good teaching skills. In my first year, my semester was 3 months and I had my mid-term exams after 1.5 months of the semester and the term exams at last after 3 months.

Internships Opportunities :

IIT BHU offers a quite really well internship oppurtunities to students during the intern season and many big MnCs like Microsoft ,Apple,Adobe and many other companies visit colleges for internship opportunities.

Placement Experience :

Placements of IIT BHU are top-notch notch with almost every top MnC who came to college to recruit the students through interview processes. In the placement drive of the year 2022 highest placement was 1.2 cr and in 2023 it was 1.68 cr and the average was overall 18-20 lpa. placements take place in various steps or seasons so that almost every student gets placed and even i a student doesn't get placement they generally get a job through online applications also.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Here each semester has tuition fees of nearly 1.2 lakhs and various scholarships are available for other categories and also for the EWS section. In addition to this senior students even work as teaching assistants to help professors and also check exam papers and revision classes.

Campus Life :

The clubs here provide various skills and activities according to the interests of students. there are different clubs for each different section or skill. IIT BHU has a very beautiful campus with huge greenery and a fresh environment giving you the full vibe. along with this, there are also various fest named FMC Weekend which is the annual fest of the Film and Media Council of college, Technex which is the technical fest Spardha is the sports fest and Kashiyatra is the cultural fest all these fests are vibrant and fun. Coming to the infrastructure college provides all the basic facilities in classrooms and also a fully air-conditioned Library with all types of books available for the subject.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostels at IIT BHU are well maintained with adequate facilities for students residing in the hostel rooms. All rooms have at least two almirahs along with proper fans and water coolers. Food quality is moderate but proper hygiene is maintained in food and mess follows a weekly menu. The registration process for hostel accommodation is simple, its fees are deposited with the tuition fees and we only need to submit the fee receipts in the hostels.

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

After the JEE Advanced exam result, we must fill our choices in our counselling on JOSSA. In this counselling, we need to make our choices and based on our performance in exams, we get the respective seats in the college. This counselling takes place in 6 rounds and after the result of the 6th round, we need to go to the college's official website to see the reporting date along with documents to bring for physical registration. The same procedure is for hostel registration.

4the year students are eligible to sit for the placements. Placements here are not so good frankly speaking and one who wants a good placement needs to apply for off campus placements. Placement Experience:

The students can start applying for college placements from 7th semester onwards. Various companies visit for placement opportunities. The highest package was 24L for one year. The percentage of students getting college placements is very low considering the competition in this field. My plans are to join the army, but keeping the engeneering field as a backup.
