- The institute has all basic infrastructural facilities.It has well qualified and experienced faculty members.

Dislikes
- The WI-Fi facility in Hostel is limited which is 2GB/day.
- The Institute has not canteen facility available at night which I don't like.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum at NIT Agartala is really good. It covers everything we need to know, from basics to advanced stuff. At NIT Agartala, the curriculum for my course stands out for its exceptional quality and relevance. It is designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the subject matter, incorporating both theoretical concepts and practical applications. The emphasis on hands-on learning through projects and industry collaborations greatly influenced my decision to choose this course. One of the strengths of the curriculum is its focus on preparing students for real-world challenges. By integrating practical experiences such as internships and industry projects, NIT Agartala ensures that students are well-equipped for professional endeavors upon graduation. Overall, NIT Agartala's curriculum is of top quality and helps us learn practical skills for the real world.
Internships Opportunities :
Students at NIT Agartala get internships with companies like Google, Microsoft ,Amazon, L&T etc. They work as software developers, mechanical engineers, or in research and development. Interns usually get paid between INR 10,000 to INR 30,000 per month. The internships is mainly for 6-8 weeks. Students work on different projects, like making mobile apps for various companies or researching new energy sources at many Institutes.A These internships give students real-world experience and help them learn new skills for their future careers.
Placement Experience :
The Placement Seasons begins in the month of July and goes up till June to following year.From 7th Semester students are eligible for campus placements. Interested and eligible students have to register with Training and Placement Cell of the Institute for showing their willingness to appear in recruitment process. The percentage of students nearly placed is 70-80%. The higest package is 52 lpa and average package is 7-8 lpa. Many companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Oracle,Texas Instruments,Paytm ,Phonepe, Qualcomm,Nokia and many more good companies come and give a very good offer to students. My plan is s to get a good package and work with an good organisation where I can enhance my career.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is available on institute website as it changes from time to time but the basic tuition fee is Rs 62500 per semester which is same in all NITs. The other charges includes Medical Fee , Student Activity Fee, Prospectpus Fee,etc which is nearly about Rs 10000. So total fees for one semester is nearly Rs 72000. The SC/ST/PH and the most Economically Backward Students (whose family income is less than Rs 1.00 lakh per annum) get full tuition Fee waiver. The other Economically Backward Students ( whose family income is between Rs 1.00 lakh to Rs 5.00 lakh per annum) gets remission of two-third of the tuition fee. Scholarships are also awarded to the students at UG level on the guidelines of State Government and Central government if students fulfill the academic and other criteria.
Campus Life :
Campus life at NIT Agartala is awesome! There are lots of events to get involved in, like Cultural Fest which is held nearly in February and Technical Fest in March-April. The classrooms and laboratories of this Institute are equipped with modern facilities. Every department has computer labs so that students can access Internet anywhere. NIT Agartala has biggest Sports Complex when compared to all NITs so you can easily play cric6, football or any other game you want to play. NIT Agartala has a Central Librrary (Knowledge Centre) which is open access and almost every books is available here. Students run clubs for different interests, like for musicwe have Malhar Club for tech we have Robotics Club for coding we have DCC (Developer's Coding Club), for dance we have Dzire Club snd many more clubs. These clubs make campus life more fun and help us make friends and learn new things.
Hostel Facilities :
NIT Agartala has both Boy's Hostel and Girl's Hostel facilities.Presently there are 5 Boy's Hostel which can accommodate students nearly 2500-3000 and Girl's Hostel having intake capacity of nearly 600-700. Rooms of hostel are well furnished and well equipped.Wi-Fi facilities is also available but you will get only 2 GB per day having good internet connection. Food quality is good but we can't say it is best .It can be improved but there are options 9f choosing mess as there are more than 4-5 mess available so you change if you don't like the mess food. Hostel facility can be taking by paying the Hostel Fee which is given on Institute Website but it is nearly Rs 26200 for 5 months.
Admission :
The admission process is based on the rank obtained in JEE Mains Exam. For getting admission in NITs, IITTs, IITs and GFTIs you have to go through counseling process which is done by JoSSA. NIT Agartala also follows the same schedule of JoSSA for admission to under-graduaate courses. The students who are eligible for this college have to follow the procedure which is given in JoSSA/CSAB information brochure i.e they have to first take provisional admission at the finally alloted institute by JoSSA/CSAB during counseling sessions. After getting Provisional Admission Letter, students have to pay the Institute Fee which is made available on NIT Agartala Website just after the counseling process os about to end. The class timings of B-Tech Programme for all years is 9:00 a.m to 5:00 p.m.
