The placement stats here are very good in comparison

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this cource for the computing part of it because it will help get me into software developer.Plus math in gerneral builds logic so it was a good aad-on as well. The exams are average vased on difficulty. The area for improvement can be that the level of examination is subpar at best in comparison to other IITs

Class Size : 57Course Fees : INR 230000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Some companies with good offers for internships are google , Microsoft, quadeye giving software developer roles with 2L plus stipend. JP morgan and chase comes for consulting role giving 2L plus stipend.

Placement Experience :

The placement is very good among most of the engineering colleges. My branch has the average and median of above 20+ lakhs. Highest goes 1Cr+ and the placement ratio is above 90% . My plans are for job after getting degree.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fee structure for course per semester is 1.15 lakh with 15k hostel fees. The complete cost would be around 13-14 lakhs. THERE ARE NO SCHOLORSHIPS FOR GENERAL STUDENTS HERE. Currently i have not yaken part in intership process

Campus Life :

The main two fests are: Kahsiyatra: The main cultural and social fest held around december Technex: The technological fest held around march There is one library here with decent book and journel collection Sports grounds and equipment are again below average IIT level

Hostel Facilities :

The room is sharing for 3 students with basic fan cupboard and bed without mattress. The food quality is bad and the menu is decent. The registration process for hostel is tedious at first day of the year

Hostel Fee : INR 30000 per year

Admission :

The admition process was via JEE Advance My rank was 1868crl general category The registration and formalities were very tedious and the process of ranking your choices vased on your rank was very time consuming. Plus you had to wait for the dofferent rounds

4the year students are eligible to sit for the placements. Placements here are not so good frankly speaking and one who wants a good placement needs to apply for off campus placements. Placement Experience:

The students can start applying for college placements from 7th semester onwards. Various companies visit for placement opportunities. The highest package was 24L for one year. The percentage of students getting college placements is very low considering the competition in this field. My plans are to join the army, but keeping the engeneering field as a backup.

Decent college for Btech
