Connectivity of this college is little dissapointing.
It is very messy process to take permission for organising a event in NIT A several restrictions are made like DJ.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very well structured and all faculty members and technical staffs are well qualified. The buildings of my department is very well maintained and professors are very supportive.In one semester there are two exams mid term and end term.

Class Size : 85Course Fees : INR 17125 per year

Internships Opportunities :

There is a different well established cell for placement and internship Programmes. Talented students got their internships at google with a good amount of stilend 50000?.Also several other companies like WIPRO, LNT offer their internships here.

Placement Experience :

Placements of this college is very good and improving year by year.There are 80% placement for CSE and ECE branch, for mechanical it is 70%, and approx 50-60% for all other branches.this year highest package was 52 lakhs in CSE and 30 lakhs in ECE.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Tution fees is different for different income level students .Fees remission is provided if your familyincome is below 5 lakhs or 1 lakhs.There are several types of scholarship for students like for obc , there is "PM Yassasvi top class obc" is there.

Campus Life :

NIT A has a lush green campus and a beutiful college life.There are many fests held at college like cultural fest Moksha and technical fest AAYAAM.College has a big library containing all types of books for the students from technical to philosphical.Sports complex of this college is very well designed in which sports like basketball, hockey etc occur ona a regular basis.Clubs are also very active .

Hostel Facilities :

Provided room is of two student accommodation in which there are two beds , one study table and a chair is provided.Meal quality of this college is very poor in first year and good from 2nd year of the college. Registeration for hostel happens during admission process itself.

Hostel Fee : INR 26200 per year

Admission :

Admission process for this college (NIT A)was very smooth.It is done through jee mains percentile and cutoff is different for different branches and for different categories of reservation.After selecting the college preference and respective branches at josaa or csab website , if you cross the required cutoff, you will get a seat in this college (NIT A) and all further admission process will be transferred to NIT A.

The overall college is really good you will enjoy a lot

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions:

tuition tuition fee is like it will depends on the early income of your family if it's lower than 1 lakh there are some subsidies and if it's like between 1 to 5 legs there different subsidies and if it's over 5 or 8 legs the fee is really really high it's like 72 80k for each and every semester and the if I talk about the hostel fee the hostel fees around 30000 semester

Let's know all about NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students are getting offered for college placements. There are total 300-400 companies visit in our college and make around 600-700 offers. I got placed in ORC ENGINEERING having a LPA of 2.5-3.5 . The highest package of 2024 year is round 40 lakhs and average package is roughly around 5 LPA. Around Total 60% students placed this year. My next plan is to prepare for gate exams along with my jobs.

A Good College

Placement Experience:

Students can sit for placement from 3rd year itself. Though it is highly unlikely that placement offers come in 3rd year as it comes mostly in 4th year, but there has been cases where 3rd year students also get placed. Besides placement, one can even get good internships which based upon their performance can later get turned to a placement offer. Many good companies have visited and have hired students from this college.

A student's perspective of NIT Agartala

Placement Experience:

The student become eligible for campus placement after sixth semester. Gennerally, students who maintained their cgpa above 7.5 gets placed. There were many companies which visited for placements. Software firms such as Oracle, Nvidia, Paypal, Seimens, Paytm, Rapido, Mathworks, Dell, Qualcomm, Chargebee, etc. Core manufacturing companies such as Vedanta oil and gas, Dalmia, Maruti suzuki, CEAT tyres, Ashok Leyland, etc. The percentage rate of placement is around 85%. The highest package is INR 52 LPA offered to CSE and EE branch students. Also Oracle offered placements to around 20 students with CTC of INR 35 LPA. Average package of CSE if INR 14.5 LPA whereas for ECE, it is INR 13.84 LPA. After getting the degree, my plan is to get good placement from the college where i can get good work experience and also i am planning to do masters from IIt for which i will prepare for gate examination.
