Course Curriculum Overview :

I wish to join in IT field so I thought to take this course. This course is advanced at Lady Doak College. It will help to pursue a job . The teaching skills of all faculty in Lady Doak College is amazing. teaching methods are really good here.

Class Size : 52Course Fees : INR 85000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Company names like Zoho, Infosys, Accenture etc. roles are analyst, tester , data collection Etc. In our college at the end of the year they will give us a mini project related to the course we took.it is really helpful for us.

Placement Experience :

From 5 th semester students become eligible for campus placements.Accenture , Infosys,Zoho etc more 50 students were selected.starting from 20000 to 50000 salary are provided by many companies.80% of students are getting placed every year.after getting this Degree am gonna attend campus interview and do jobs related to IT because that's my dream .

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Bachelor degree is for 3 years totally 3 lakhs . Many scholships are available here like government scholarship for goverment schools studies students.campus interviews are undertaken here many companies are visiting lady doak college and many of them are selected . This course is really more helpful.

Campus Life :

This year we had a technical event called techvistara. Usually it was held between September or October. We have a separate departmental library for computer science there will be many books related to our course .we are having a well computer labs with smart teachers.our department having jupito club .

Admission :

We have to finish 10 and 12 th board exam then we have to apply for this course.we have to go the college website in there we can see admission module then we have to click it and have to do the admission process it will be very simple. If we join this course means it will be really helpful for our carrier. The admission process will be too easy we have to submit the marks and percentage of our board exam .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The syllabus framed is based on outcome based learning. There is also different levels in learning that makes students to engage in learning the concept more deeper and clear with their concepts. The syllabus not only includes core subjects but also allied and elective papers. Papers like enterpreunership, women studies and so on are included exclusively. Students are advised to complete online courses, and some extra courses. Faculties are well versed and the classes for immunology and biotechnology are taught excellently. During practical classes staff teach the students in batches so no one is left. Experiments are repeated for students excellence in their practical classes. Additionally students are offered animation course for science content development videos, which makes student to opt jobs related to non-core. The placements are good. PSGR krishnammal is the best choice for Zoology in Tamil Nadu.

Because chemistry is a good course it had a bright future. The student ratio is 40 in each department. We had only two faculties so teaching is not enough. Yes, exams are very difficult for students because we had fewer teachers so it would be difficult to pass.

Admission:

I got admission in this college based on my marks in 12th standard. I am studying Bachelor of Science in Zoology. Merit list is prepared based on our marks scored in 12th. This is good college in our place and it is women's college which is also suitable for me. Candidate must have studied physics, chemistry and biology in 12th standard for admission in this course.

Placement Experience:

There are many companies which recruits students from our college from various branch. Few of them are Wipro, Sutherland, global services, IBM, TCS, Transworks, wase, KGiSL, etc. Job opportunities for Bsc Zoology students is less. Internship opportunities are not provided by college but help us to find.

My review

Remarks:

Positive - The Library. It is dumped with more than 82k books. With digital library and fantastic reference section. Play ground, gym etc well equipped and nicely maintained. Nice wifi connectivity. Canteen with nominal rate any one could afford. Entrepreneur we have TBI for young Entrepreneurs fully functioning. Negative - Staff have to update or read books before they come to class. Syllabus should match the industrial needs. Labs should be well equipped.
