I liked the college because it give us good clinical exposure
I like the mess food of the college it's very tasty
Wardens of the hostel are so much nice and cooperative

I didn't like the campus of the college because there is no playground
The teachers of the college are not that much co operative

I choose this profession to serve for the nation and for the needy people by the help of this course I can also help my family members in any disease condition there is semester system each semester consists of 6 months

Class Size: 42Course Fees: INR 120800 per year

Internships Opportunities

Int he end of 4 year and at the 8 semester there is 6 month internship for the students and there is package given for the students from Apollo madanta and motherland hospital that is 20000 per month

Placement Experience

The college give placement in madanta Apollo hospital and motherland hospital and and the package is different according to the hospital the package is approximately 20000 and 30000 per month . And students with more 60% get package

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee amount is 120800 with attached charges of hostel fees tution fees mees food and transport etc. Laundry fees is separate that is 2100 for 6 months and total amount of fees for students is 120800

Campus Life

In the college we celebrate many festivals like holy nursing week and Diwali and women's day and tuberculosis day etc in nursing one week program is held which consist of sports day etc. rangoli competition is also held there

Hostel Facilities

In the college there is labs for the students to works to do their practical work like nursing foundation lab and pediatrics lab In the menu there is different kind of variety is given like mi. Veg etc . Rice dal and snacks also

Hostel Fee: INR 60000 per year

For the admission student should have completed her 12 with medical stream with 50 % and to fill the admission form you can visit the atal medical and research University there is scholarship also for the reserved category students there is semester for nursing students

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course, bsc nursing is very common these days because of the job opportunities and money. This is the same reason for me to take this course and also I like biology subject so I thought it will be easier for me to study nursing. But actually it's very different. We need to work really hard in this field. It's very hard to study. We need to focus more on studying other than anything. I just got into the college. It's been only 2 months so we are only having weakly tests now. And the tests are ok. Most of the students get passed.

My nursing journey in Igmc shimla

Course Curriculum Overview:

The timing that we get for wrotten exam is 3 hours and it is of 75 marks. We get 40 sheets and students mostly try to fill all tjose 40 sheets the difficulty level is moderate as direct questions are asked. No out of syllabus questions are asked.

The nursing college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nursing is all about skills, and the more practice you do, the better...i spent most of my time in hospital with patients for at least 9 months ever year....the duty used to be of 6 hours and the rest 2 hours we used to have a class till 4 pm Ut was a bit hectic but it really helped me in clearing all my concepts and improving my skills in handling a patient also the internship program is like cherry on top so good it covers everything you learn in 4 years and makes you ready for the outer world....I would say in terms of improvement, they need to reschedule their classes and clinicals timing because it gets draining and we don't get much time to study, so we usually just study because we used to be so exhausted.
