Likes

Management is quite good. Mangement head always keep in touch with us.
Teachers always take responsibility to teach students properly.

Dislikes

But i more i dislike, hostel distance is very far from college
Hostel road condition is very bad. Water supply is also in limits

Course Curriculum Overview

College faculty is great. Teachers are well trained. Exams level is also in student level. Revisen classes also conducted regular test. College class mangement is also fine and facility provide to us.i am very happy to choose this college

Internships Opportunities

Like Max, Fortis, Medanta, These are mostly comes for to conduct interviews and take as staff. They ask questions like about nursing or in our sllabuys which we done in 4 years .After then which one select they give names and joining letters comes to them

Placement Experience

At last semester student will eligible for campus placements.There are many hospitals come for interviews like Apollo , Max , Fortis, Medanta etc . After getting degree I try for illets coaching or direct exam then I try to go abroad for further studies even job.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fee around 45,000 Included hostel around 65,000 Complete fees now 1,23,000 I prefer post metric Scholarship ,it's included for all category in different manner and a limit for every caste and always give by government of himachal pradesh

Campus Life

My overall experience from this college or study is quiet good Campus is also great Infrastructure is nice and college organize every festivals or celebrate . Smart classes provided to us Sports day celebrate Anti-ragging department is also held in our college

Hostel Facilities

Comfortable bed for sleep included Almirah for clothes rooms are very good excess space and study table also provided included bathroom attached with room gyser facility is also available Meal is very delicious breakfast lunch dinner all available tea snacks also give to us.

Hostel Fee: INR 65000 per year

Admission

The admission is quit good . I done entrance test and cut off is ok. Management cooperate with us for fee. Eligibility of course for bsc nursing degree 12th pass medical stream or in gnm diploma arts, non medical student can apply.

Interview Experience

No I never gave any interview test i only gave entrance test for admission. First I fill form for bsc nursing then my date come for entrance and then after result comes my counselling start then I achieve this college.

Course Curriculum Overview:

This course, bsc nursing is very common these days because of the job opportunities and money. This is the same reason for me to take this course and also I like biology subject so I thought it will be easier for me to study nursing. But actually it's very different. We need to work really hard in this field. It's very hard to study. We need to focus more on studying other than anything. I just got into the college. It's been only 2 months so we are only having weakly tests now. And the tests are ok. Most of the students get passed.

My nursing journey in Igmc shimla

Course Curriculum Overview:

The timing that we get for wrotten exam is 3 hours and it is of 75 marks. We get 40 sheets and students mostly try to fill all tjose 40 sheets the difficulty level is moderate as direct questions are asked. No out of syllabus questions are asked.

The nursing college

Course Curriculum Overview:

Nursing is all about skills, and the more practice you do, the better...i spent most of my time in hospital with patients for at least 9 months ever year....the duty used to be of 6 hours and the rest 2 hours we used to have a class till 4 pm Ut was a bit hectic but it really helped me in clearing all my concepts and improving my skills in handling a patient also the internship program is like cherry on top so good it covers everything you learn in 4 years and makes you ready for the outer world....I would say in terms of improvement, they need to reschedule their classes and clinicals timing because it gets draining and we don't get much time to study, so we usually just study because we used to be so exhausted.
