Remarks :

The college has a strict management and rules are followed very strictly. However, the management decision at times became conflicting with students but were resolved with the director by arranging proper meetings with the batch.

Entrance Preview :

After going through the advertisement in newspaper i had a conversation with some of my colleagues and consulted a friend of my father who himself is a professor and finally made a decision to opt for it. Also, after some research about the college, faculty and campus i drew to opt for it.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is designed appropriately taking care of both academic as well as the overall development of the students. Also, the curriculum of the course focused on creating a link between the students and the corporate by filling that gap by industrial visits, guest lectures, live projects and many other such activities.

Internships Opportunities :

Yes my college provided internships with companies from L&T to kpmg to jabong etc. The highest stipend was 18,000 however most of the companies didn’t provide any stipends rather an offer of job if they like the candidates work. About 10 students got the offer and joined in the same company they did internships from.

Placement Experience :

The placements are good with an average package of 6-7 lakhs and the highest pacakges recently touched 15 lakhs. The corporate resource cell of the institute provides students with proper guidance and job opportunities in various companies. Companies like amazon, kpmg, and L&T visit campus mostly every year.

College Events :

the college conducts various celebrations from holi, Independence Day, Diwali, ganesh chaturti etc then there are functions conducted annually by the college like feasts, alumni meets, sports meet and many others. A special celebration for the chancellors birthday is also celebrated.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee structure is a bit on the higher side because the college takes a total fee of 6-7 lakhs without hostel and exam charges. The college takes examination charges separate every semester for the final exams only. But a separate examination fee every semester makes ut a bit expensive.

Fees and Financial Aid :

No, i have not heard of any scholarships provided by the college I don’t think there is any such thing offered by the college. But they do have Bharti Sahakari bank inside the campus which provides loans and other services.

Campus Life :

The campus life is great as the college keeps on conducting several competitions, debates, street shows etc also sports facilities for indoor as well as outdoor games is provided and motivates students to play and participate. They also have a medical room where medical and health check upa are conducted from time to time.

Hostel Facilities :

The mess food is nice and hygiene. The campus offers hostel for girls only boys need to opt for a pg outside the campus. The girl's hostel was nice and clean with 2 girls sharing a room and bathroom. However, the capacity of the hostel is about 30-40 girls only also there is just one gesture on one floor for about 10-12 girls.

Alumni/Alumna :

They have a really big alumni network from the batches of 90’s till date. The alumni network is strong and helpful to the students they also visit the campus several times as visiting faculties and for guest lectures, conferences and seminars etc.

Exam Structure :

There are exams thrice in a semester. The college conducts two internal exams in every semester and a final exam for each semester is send from Pune main campus and the sheets are also checked by the faculty of Pune Campus. The final exam is of 80 marks and rests 20 marks are based on internals, presentations, class assignments, class performance, extracurricular activities etc.

Admission :

Firstly, I applied through the college website for the course by creating a login id after someday I received my admit card. And then appeared for Bmat exam. The results and merit list was out after 1 week and a list of candidates who can appear for GD and interviews was also out. I appeared in the GD and interview. Within 2-3 days the final results based on the 3 steps were out and i got through it all. Then finally, counselling list was out where I went through the formalities and finally reserved my seat.

Faculty :

The faculty is highly experienced and knowledgeable at this institution and has a proper understanding and experience of the corporate world themselves. Thus, helping students to have a before hand experience of the corporate world. The regular as well as visiting faculty create a great connection between academic, corporate and students because mostly the visiting faculties are corporate professionals.

Placement Experience:

The placements of IIFT DELHI are at par with some of the old IIM's like Lucknow, Indore, Kozhikode. Iift is beast when it comes to finance and marketing. Every major international bank and every hedge fund visit the campus for recruitment. Also IIFT caters to some trade companies that only recruit from this college and don't visit any other campus in India. Last year 102 companies visited the campus , the median package was around 26 lakhs and average was around 27 lakhs. Highest package stood at 85 lakhs. And 100 percent placement was achieved. I'll be most probably going for working in a bank or a hedge fund after the degree

Placement Experience:

The Only thing this college is lacking about its placement cells. Students where running the placement cell and some teacher assist them to get opportunities based on their personal connections. But they don't have any particular department which is responsible for providing placement assistance.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for final placements in third semester and summer placements in the first semester itself. We have many big names here in the campus JP Morgan Chase and Co, Morgan Stanley, AON, ICICI Bank, Atomberg, Hindalco, Deloitte, KPIT, Samsung, etc. Almost all the students get placed here. I'd the percentage is above 90. The highest placement offered was 26LAC+ and the average stood at 14lacs. I am currently intern at a company via the college placements and am working towards getting a PPO. If I get one, I plan on staying in the same company.

Placement Experience:

The campus placements are great at FMS Delhi. Almost all good companies visit the campus for recruitment. In the very first semester, companies visit for the summer placement process where the average stipend this year was 1.5 lakh/per month and the highest stipend was 2.2 lakhs per month. Also, there are final placements conducted where the median package is around 30 lakhs per annum and the highest package goes above 60 lakhs per annum. Talking about the percentage of placements, all the students are placed in the companies visiting the campus and the placement record is 100% till now.
