Remarks :

There is no any bad remark about my college but one thing that i doesn't like is our account section is so good.

Entrance Preview :

I opt for this college because this college is recommended by my friend who was the pass out student. Actually, I was so confused after 12th that which college I have to choose then my friend suggested me that college. I m so glad to have admission to this college.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I was interested in computer science technology which is a very fast growing field in the world. And I love new technologies. So, i decided to take CSE in b.tech. As far as your choice in which you are interested. I'm not forcing you to take only computer science. You can take any branch as per your choice. Every branch has its own specification.

Internships Opportunities :

I don't pass any wrong information to the junior. Our college doesn't provide an internship but they are deciding it.

College Events :

Our college celebrates most of the function some of them are tech fest, and they also held competitions and Tez festival. They also organize quiz competition and games like cricket for boys and badminton and many other games for the students. So they have good physical and mental strength.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Our fee structure is soo feasible. They dont take an extra fee as others famous colleges take. It is so reasonable for all students either he is rich, poor or average. They provide good study material at reasonable fee structure. I will suggest u visit once at every college than u will decide for the best one by seeing overall every phase of college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yah, of course, they provide scholarship according to the state level and also on the merit basis. Those students who can't afford the fee for the further study they provide the scholarship to them.

Campus Life :

Our college is situated at 5km away from the city Chandigarh. And the campus is full of greenery and there is soo many trees around the college. And also our college is eco-friendly. As per the gender ratio, ie 60:40 60% are the boys and 40% are the girls.

Hostel Facilities :

Our hostel is good. And the mess food is normal as others college have. They provide green vegetables for the students. Sweets in a week. And different types of snacks at the tea time. There taste are good. They provide healthy food for the hostellers.

External Expense : Rs.2000 - Rs.4000

Exam Structure :

The main important thing is our college is under the government approved university i.e, Punjab technical university. Soo our exam pattern is under three section. The first section is of 20marks and it has 10 questions and the other section is also of 20 marks i.e,4question of each 5 marks and the last section is also of 20marks i.e, 10 marks for 2 questions.

Admission :

I had taken the direct admission on behalf of my friend. And im soo thankful to him that he suggested me this college. This college is focused about the study and the future for there students. They provide every study material to the students. Professor give the notes to the students.

Faculty :

As far as our faculty members are so friendly and they always concerned about there students. They teach us very well. They are soo good and they have good knowledge in every field. They support us as a guardian. They also provide notes to there students.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was doing bachelor of Technology in computer science. Starting from the classroom to the computer labs , everything is available and well maintained. You learn programming and languages with the help of faculty and for every student there is computer available with all equipments. In a week, there are 3 days of computer lab practice and 3 days for classwork. The professor tests and skills very often and if there is any inefficiency , he/she will help you to correct it. Placement Experience:

In- campus placement is not that good it is below average as they have taken way too many admissions their placements are not even to rely on they dont provide with good companies coming for selection average placement in CSE in 3-4 lpa they focus on theoretical knowledge more than the practical knowledge so no students are ready for the placement criterias and at last they fail as predicted

SLIET: A Modern Gurukul

Placement Experience:

From 7th sem for the degree and 6th for the diploma and 4th sem for the Mtech Students. Placements are about average and this year 2023 the placement ratio is growing faster and about 70 percent of the students from each branch got at least an average package. 20LPA is the highest in the history of SLIET offered by Microsoft. I have already been placed in HCL and Cognizant-like MNCs. So focus on the only job now.

My review

Placement Experience:

Placements are quite good in Chitkara. The placement procedure starts in the 6th semester of our college and goes until you are graduated (8th semester). Need to mention that Chitkara holds a record of 100% placement. Every student gets placed here. Companies offer anything between 3lpa - 12lpa. But you need to study a bit for getting placed. Note that college cannot force a company to recruit students. Companies recruit based on tests and interviews that they conduct. My plans after getting a degree will be to work for the company I've been placed in.
