Likes

The campus environment and building, the lab and classroom interior
Student can apply for course in which they learn to use equipment provided by companies like bosch and kuka robotics
Student are alloted two breaks between lectures daily so the can relax or can complete there pending work

Dislikes

Student are required to maintain a 75% attendance
Students doesn't have a lot of internship opportunity
College doesn't conduct fests and other functions for student

Course Curriculum Overview

The course provides theory as well as skill based learning to students. The frequency of exams is high as the student is supposed to give 2 session test 1 pre University test and then the university exam with practical all in 6 months and 5 class test for each unit completed in each subject

After 6 semester the students are eligible for college placements, companies like TCS, infosis,Wipro,Vivo visit college. many startup company also visit the college. The highest package offered to a ECE student this year is 33 lakhs

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 1,21,000 for a year and 20,000 in 1st year as security money,service charges and other charges which is refundable and once the course is completed. Student have to pay 7500 exam registration fee.

Campus Life

The college Library have a vast range of books and journal. The college allows student run clubs such as for music, dancing. But also for student who love photography and videography, there are some group focused on content writing, social media.

Admission

During admission process the management was not upto the mark, They were not able to help student. The application form was given to student in the room which was alloted to you according to your branch, you have to fill it and attach your documents with it and hand it over to the faculty present in the room

Placement Experience:

Placements in my college is good , and tries to place the students as much as possible, the heighest package of my college is 49 lacks per annum. And average package is 6 lacks per annum. Name of the compnies visited- Accenture, Tcs, Delloite etc.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester (4th year). Few companies visit VBSPU for placements, and most are mass recruiters offering IT support and sales-related roles. Since placement opportunities are limited, only a small percentage of students secure on-campus jobs. Average Package: ~ 3-3.5 LPA Many students rely on off-campus placements through LinkedIn, referral hiring, or applying directly to companies. RECM - Underrated but a great future ahead.

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible to appear for placement from seventh semester. In Civil Engg Dept 40 students enrolled for campus placement and 28 students were offered jobs till the final semester. L&T Infra, Tata Steel, Prism Cement, ACC Cement are some of the prime recruiters. Highest package offered was 7.5 lpa , lowest 4.2 lpa and median was 5.5 lpa. Profiles offered were Project Associate ,BIM Engineer, Site Supervisor, Area Head (Sales). 70% of students got placed in the first batch of this college from civil engg dept. Currently I am serving as Junior Engineer at DFCCIL (Railways).

The placements are very good in my college. The college is having a unique department name as CCPD which is working for or all the students for their jobs and placements. this department of our college also provides opportunities for internships and Guides the student for their right choice. I chose this college as in previous times it was doing quite good in placements and but now most of the students are unplaced. Other colleges I've applied to are JSS noida, Galgotias etc are these colleges got a better placement ratio that my college. But campus of other campus are smaller compared to AKGEC. so bascially i didn't choose this college . i did mistake in my uptac counselling and get this college but when i studied here and seen all the aktu colleges i prefer this is good because it ranked 3 in up colleges .the college is ranked 3 in whole up and its naac A++ so yes its a great college so to get admission in akgec there are two ways by 10+2 percentage marks or by uptac counselling you have to fill your choices in uptac counselling so fill it very carefully without any mistake so the overall to get any cs/it branch your jee percentile should be above 88 and below that you can get any other core branches....Read More

Earlier, the admission process was based on the AKTU exam and its counseling. From 2021, they started taking admission on JEE mains score.
