Good campus atmosphere. Very silent surroundings.

Dislikes

Lack of public transportation. There is a college bus but no public transport

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum in first year is less relevant. The college prepares students for the real world in a good way . The exams are very close and have less gap between each. Internal exam are done 2 per day. New courses should be added.

Class Size : 53Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Placement Experience :

Placements are offered in college. Many companies like Infosys comes to college at the time of placement. A new company have started their r and d lab in the college campus. The company name is zoho which is american based. The packages usually range from 2-6 lakhs per year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure include three category merit,management and nri. In merit the fees is 35000 per year and in management it is 70000 per year. For nri it is even higher. The cost will totally include about 4 lakhs for the entire course. Scholarships are available for everyone.

Campus Life :

There are many programs in the college there is an arts day sports day onam celebrations Christmas celebration. The library is well equipped with books . Theiretical books and literatures are available in the library. Most classroom are having a projector and labs are averagely good.

Admission :

Admission was easy. The admissions are taken on basis of ranking in entrance exam called KEAM. The application form is given from college. If you are eligible the college will contact you for further procedures. Every details of admissions is available on the college website.

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
