Weekend tournaments like football matches held in the stadium where most of the students come.
The freedom we get in the university is immense. We can go out and come inside at any time.

Relationships and friendship being not true and mostly situational in nature.

Course Curriculum Overview :

As today's world is more focused on globalisation and world is moving towards one market, MBA International Business has more relevance these days. We will come to study more about the conduct of business in a international perspective or platform. My inspiration to take the course is that we can learn about business in an international scale. It will prepare us to compete in an international stage of businesses. The curriculum also prepares for the real world experiences through internships and different programs such as management fests. The exams are conducted every semester and the difficulty level is moderate.

Class Size : 87Course Fees : INR 72000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The odd semesters and even semesters have different fees. The odd semesters has a fees above 60000 and for even semesters it is around 8000. Different scholarships are available for students who are under reserved categories and scholarships are also there based on merit basis. I had done my internship in Taj Hotels and had availed stipend of 5000.

Campus Life :

My campus life is very good for me. I had got a lot of experiences, fun, enjoyments and moreover learned many life lessons which will be guiding me throughout my life. There are lot of annual and technical festivals such as Globizz which is the management fest of International Business department, Akansha which is by tourism department and many more. Coming to the library, there are many books, journals, publications and magazines which is very much useful for students. Every department has their own space in the central library and full of books. The facilities and technological provisions within classrooms are satisfactory. There is LED television which is used to take lectures and for science departments there is labs and other facilities which is required. Sports activities are very much active in the university and there are many extra curricular activities also. There are also student run clubs such as PU Share which is a club focused on charity.

Hostel Facilities :

My room is in a old hostel. But it is well maintained. There are workers for cleaning and they used to clean the hostel and hostel premises everyday. The food provided in mess is not much satisfactory but it is okay. All the students who applies for hostel used to get room. And there is no need to go out of the university for room or PG.

Hostel Fee : INR 900 per year

Admission :

My admission was pretty much slow due to corona issues and all. Admission was finalized only in December month and i waited a lot to get admission in Pondicherry University. Though the exam was over in july it took almost 5 months to get into pondicherry university. The eligibility of the course is any degree with atleast 60% of marks. The admission is through cuet examination which is conducted every year at all India basis. The difficulty of the examination is moderate and the timing of the exam is similar to other competitive exams which is conducted for MBA such as CAT exam. My suggestion for improvement is that the admission process should be more fast and individual universities should also take care of their admission process very fast.

Diversity & Culture fosters to grasp knowledge quickly Some professors teach like IIM & IIT So it's the best for learning from them Well, we can't expect mark from them but knowledge ???? Areas to improvement - Can include Corporate skill courses and more technical courses The frequency and timings of exams are flexible as they keep for 3 hrs for 60 marks is better than writing for 100 marks in 2.5 hrs

Pondicherry University a simple tour

Placement Experience:

I personally know a senior of my course who got placed in federal bank for a package of 13 lpa I think that is the best this course have got so far and around 4 people got place in the same company. Even though the mba logistics caourse is new there are good of studensts are getting placed. As of my knowledge most if the studenst who have participated in the placement have got placed. My plan is to participate in the placement and get placed I have good faith that i will get placed as seeing the prev year placements.

Before the end of third semester the placement cell becomes active and companies start visiting the campus Companies mostly Banking and Sales come for recruitment Last year highest placement was of 13-15L PA After COVID placement has dropped to 40-50% One can go for UGC nET exam before finishing their degree for job and career security.

Admission:

The admission process is pretty straightforward. I applied directly to the college by filling out all the relevant academic details and waited for the merit list. My graduation marks were not that good, so I have to wait for the second merit list.

Placement Experience:

There are limited placements in our college because mine was a distance program. Though, several personality development programs are held in our institute in order to boost the confidence of students. Our college is one of the fewest colleges offering placement assistance to the students of a distance program.

Entrance Preview:

Pondicherry entrance exam. I have appallied for MBA insurance, tourism, international bussinessI got selected 4 insurance and 4 international bussiness i was in waiting list.I got the selected letter from insurance. so the scope was good for insurance so i have joined it.

Placement Experience:
