Likes

The study hall of the college is quite attractive. It provides a silent place to study all day.
The department rooms are well maintained. The teachers are obedient and always on time.

Dislikes

Seniors are often involved in nuisance activities which needs to be controlled by faculties
The hostels require more surveillance as the students may get out of control sometimes.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The classrooms are quite good. The teaching faculty is also brilliant. The teachers are hardworking and obedient to their job. They are helpful and also guide in other fields too. Although you may face difficulty while learnings from teachers who use a quite traditional way of teaching.

Class Size : 385Course Fees : INR 4840 per year

Placement Experience :

The college is open for placements. Campus selection happens regularly. Companies like Microsoft, HCLTech come to pick up students. They do follow a professional way to choose students through a well made resume and an interview, even in the first year.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The college allows scholarships for the students. The students may check their eligibility in different state scholarship schemes in the portal named the same. With the eligibility, you may proceed to fill up the application form for scholarship which may provide you financial assistance for laptops and study materials.

Campus Life :

The campus is beautiful and clean. It has a good play field. The quadrangle of the college has badminton and volleyball courts. The library of the college is also vast. It has a simple decorum to help the students get access to different kinds of books available there. It also has a big study hall open for all. Students prefer to sit there for long to study.

Admission :

The admission form was available at the SAMS Odisha portal. You have to choose 5-6 colleges of your choice and have to allot preferences. After the cutoff release dates, you will receive the intimation letter online. You may freeze the college if yours desired, or may have an option of sliding and wait for the next round of selection. After the online procedure, you have to pay the fees online and then you have to visit the college you froze on a date decided by them with the original 10th and 12th passing certificate for verification. Where along with verification you will fill up your details and you finally get your index number. So now you are a student of the college.

From the last two semesters the companies will start coming to your campus for the campus drive. There were big companies that came to college like EY and Axis Bank and many more. The demand for the minimum percentage or cgpa is usually 60% or 6 cgpa required There shouldn't be any back students The process of recruitment was also explained in detail so as to run the process smoothly

Placement Experience:

From 5 semesters students are eligible for campus placement. packages depending on companies that come to give job opportunities. Highest I have seen is 1200000 a year. It can be more nowadays. About 30 to 40 percent of students get placement every year. I have passed my graduation from this university and I am pursuing my M.COM in Ravenshaw University Cuttack.

In the 4th or 5th semester, approx students can get eligible for campus placement. More than 50 companies come after graduation for placement. The highest package offered is 3lacs and the average package is 2lacs. 70%of students are easily getting placement. My plan after getting a degree is further studies.
