Very excellent place to study

Remarks :

It's not everything luxurious that we might want. But trust from where i had studied previously its quite good for me to handle. Whatever it may be but i still like it.

Entrance Preview :

I got here through my IIT JEE rank I scored an 89 when the cutoff was 81 and my rank was near around 95000. my marks were nor my rank was good enough to get me good government colleges through josaa. I got in here as my father in an NTPC employee.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum is good. Though a bit different from the usual IIITs. Here we get first and second both the years common, unlike others where you get just one year. Still, we just have 2 branches for B.Tech CSE and ECE so fewer subjects. and yes it includes less of extracurricular Which I think might improve as the college is still developing.

Internships Opportunities :

As our college is still on lines of progress as it started in 2015 so presently it does not provide any internship.

Placement Experience :

No placements yet. But I hope it'll be good for the first batch. The batch of 2015 in the year 2019. We have held one industry academia meet. And one more is yet to happen the September of 2018.

College Events :

The major techno-cultural fest of the college TECHNOVATE remains constant though. And as the college is new, the other events and functions celebrated at the college depend entirely on the interests of the student. The college administration has got a very minimal role to play in it in all aspects

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Yes though the tuition fee isn't that high still. The college provides us with a scholarship. The toppers of the respective categories get the tuition fee free depending on their CGPA of the previous year. For the first year everyone gets it free. While from the second year it depends on your grade point.

Campus Life :

The campus is very beautiful and soothing with all the buildings painted white. Those are all well maintained also. Extracurricular do occur once in a while initiated by the students on their interests. The administration takes a minor role. But whenever they are held they are all quite enjoyable.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel facilities are very good. That's what I think because the previous hostel I had while preparing for jee was one living hell. And this has got a nice room with proper cleaning schedules. nice corridors and quite maintained washrooms. And raking about the mess it gives a variety of food.

Alumni/Alumna :

The seniors are mostly quite friendly and helpful. I had seniors from my previous school here. But yet the others whom I met here for the first time also are also very generous and helpful. I enjoy their company. They are a lot of fun to be with. And are also very helpful interns of academics.

Exam Structure :

Exam structure is decided independently for individual subjects by their respective faculties. What remains constant is that you have to go to give the mid term examinations and the end term examinations. The faculty will decide if he gives the entire marks based on these or they will conduct lab exams or some assignments and additional quizzes. And also the percentage of marks allotted to them.

Admission :

I got in through the NTPC quota. There was spot round held for the left over seats of the institution with just 5 seats left and I got the 4th. The information regarding the NTPC quota was received by my father as on his mail. There were rounds of counselling prior to the spot round... Through which I couldn't get through because of my rank. So we again received a mail regarding the spot round which we were supposed to attend with all the necessary documents they mentioned and go and see that if we were lucky enough to get the seat.

Faculty :

The faculty is mostly good and satisfying. I respect them. No question of their knowledge and qualification but still some of them are better than some others at teaching the subjects and developing interests for the student.

You will never get the full details and correct stats from any college about their campus placement. All you will know is from your seniors. And what I heard is that from now on good campus placement have started. Still, not more than 10% can get satisfied campus placements. But not to worry because nowadays we have opportunities to get placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements are fair. Several classes, our taken to crack the interview round and to make us industry-ready. Well, known companies like CTS, TCS, ITC Infosys, Amazon etc do conduct their place drives in this college. Students have to work hard to crack core companies as very few of them visit our college.
