Course Curriculum Overview

5

This course is perfect for the ones who are into fashion and want to work in the fashion industry. The faculty here is experienced and has worked in the same field for almost 20+ years, and it is project-based learning rather than rot one, you'll get hand on experience as to how things are done, nevertheless, faculty members would be there any time you need assistance. So, your decision to join IIAD won't be regretful.

Internships Opportunities

5

Recently ZARA offered an internship (1 month, 10K) companies like Aditya Birla Fashion Retail, Biba, H&M and many more have recruited students from IIAD, so the placement rate and companies offered is quite satisfactory

Placement Experience

5

for my course, even students in the first year got internship opportunities and our third year focuses on internship-based learning (it's optional as to how we choose to work). Companies like ZARA and H&M have also recruited students from this college.

Fees and Financial Aid

I feel like the cost of the study is appropriate if we look into the opportunities IIAD provides. Yes, there are scholarships offered and that again is based on the interview rounds. They also offer internship opportunities for better explore in the field you're planning to work in.

Campus Life

5

we usually have grad shows every session end and of course events on festive dates. campus life is altogether fun. there are dedicated clubs and everything works out with perfect collaboration, and all of this is there on IIAD's Insta handle. Our classrooms are studios with large pannels for our work to be displayed on. we have a separate material lab where all mechanical tools are present, a photography lab, inbuilt stationary and many more

Admission

The eligibility criteria is quite simple, one should have over 65% (12th). there would be a written exam and an online interview scheduled. The application form and other details are already mentioned on the official website.

Course Curriculum Overview:

the curriculum is decided by delhi university, economics wing and is followed by all the colleges of du, although few topic are often irrevelent which teachers tend to skip. i do feel that curriculum is pretty old and they should introduce new topic which are more related to reak=l world and give us real life experience not just bookish knowledge which is irelevent. they should also ask for students input related to their curriculum, teachers sometimes tedn to just do book reading. internal exmas are taken frequently and difficulty is 3 out of 5

Course Curriculum Overview:

It is a good course. I went for it mainly because I am preparing for UPSC CSE (pretty common around here). In that context the course is helpful, and also for those aiming to enter research, academia, museology, archaeology etc. However there are not many placement opportunities and for most it would be better to pursue masters later on. Teaching methods are inclusive, both english and hindi medium students can comfortably study. However both students and faculties have some complaints regarding the curriculum changes under NEP such as the sequence of courses in each sem.

There's a very active placement cell in my college. They conduct placement drives, webinars and workshops. Both the jobs and internships are offered. The best package was of 2024 offering 23 Lpa and the average is around 6 Lpa.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course is rightly designed. Plus the teachers often suggest books that can be read from library regarding course topics. The library is very nice here. I used to study in the library for long hours. The exam notes and everything is available at the photocopy shop that's inside the college. Writing this review really made me miss the college more

Placements definitely stands out as passive placement cell of the college is too good. They are quite aggressive and keep attacking us with getting ready for placements. As top corporate house like Big 4 and top Indian conglomerate also comes to our college for placements.

Initially i took this course beacuse i filled it as a backup for coming into delhi university but now i can say that the course is very interesting and it is practically applicable in daily life. Tho the theory exams are quite difficult and subjects like advance mme where max students fail exist but then also it is doable and has market value

Placement Experience:

The college has a placement cell which comes up with lots and lots of internship and job offers throughout the year, you get multiple new job opportunities every week but the campus placement is not all that great, B Com courses have somewhat decent placements. the college doesn't push very much or try much to get students placed, you're on your own.

Placement Experience:

Generally, after BA no one is placed and even if we apply for a job we don't get a good package. So, students generally go for masters or some other courses through which they can get placements. Talking of college placement and internship cell we don't have very good facilities as very limited companies are there for recruiting students. Many students don't even get the internship. This is a major negative point of college.
