Remarks :
The administration is not supportive and a hypocrite. Most of the times they try to supress you with different laws. I never have an issue with the college but I always dislike the college management. Farewell of batch 18 was also shifted to college as college administration doesn't want the students to go the 5-star resorts which was happening since 2006
Entrance Preview :
I gave the JEE MAINS exam in 2014 and didn't qualify for the advanced. My rank was around 1.40 lakh. At this rank, JUIT is the best college you can get with it reputation and infrastructure.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is a little bit old but in 2018 the administration is reviewing the course and some important changes are made. The facility which was given to 4th-year student like choosing the subject will start from 2nd year onwards. The core subjects need some introspection.
Internships Opportunities :
College provides condense semester and the period starts from Jan - June. The average stipend is 20k per month on intern period. Amazon, Infosys, kuliza, magnitude, squad, and many more company visit for the same
Placement Experience :
The placement is a pool for all 3 colleges for Jaypee. The tnp cell of JUIT is not top class and rely more on JIIT tnp cell. If you are good at coding you have a high probability of getting placed. Average students get placed in mass recruiters. Many small startups also visit the college for placement.
College Events :
The college is full of events with a student body organizing all the major events. JYC is the main student body. The first big event is Diksha- fresher night. There are 3 musical night, 1 sports fest, 1 technical fest, 1 major cultural fest and various conferences. The participation is good with students coming from the various college of Chandigarh and Himachal Pradesh. The student body is responsible for all the fest right from sponsor to event management.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
The fee structure is moderate as compared to other private colleges of the same level. The administration is hiking the fee every year. The facilities can be improved. The tuition fee for my year in last year was 75k per semester and hostel fee of rs 45k per semester. The caution money is 10k which is partially refundable. The administration charges hectic amount of fine if you indulge in any mischievous activity
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I haven't got any scholarship and I don't have any idea if that exists. Students from Bhutan got admission through scholarship as a Significance relationship between Bhutan government and Jaypee projects in Bhutan.
Campus Life :
One of the most beautiful campus in India and one of the best hostel life you can see in JUIT. Lots of club and committee keep you occupied throughout the semester. One of the few college in which you will find a good amount of girls and that too good in quality. The gender ratio would be 65:35. Most of the students are from a good background. There are many wardens for boys and girls which are responsible for the security and discipline. There is no race, gender, religion discrimination
Hostel Facilities :
The hostel life is one of the best experience in my college. The hostel is very well planned and structured. Mess and other area are also close to the hostels. The main issue lies in winter. The blowers didn't work properly and it is freezing cold in Dec-Jan. You can also opt for various PG which are constructed in a radius of 1 km of college.
Alumni/Alumna :
The seniors are good and will always try to guide you on the journey. The college has alumni cell which is not that much active still some of the alumni come to college every year for fun or for placement activities.
Exam Structure :
Exams are chill out with the pattern of T1+T2+T3 =75 marks and 25 marks of internal. The exam system is good and less hectic for students. The labs are much better than the regular lectures. The computer is very well equipped with the latest configuration. The lectures are of 1 hr while the lab is of 2 hr.
Admission :
The forms are released in which you can opt for different colleges of Jaypee. There are different rounds of counseling. First counselling held in Jaypee Noida, you can reserve your seat there if you get any. Second counseling held in Jaypee solan. I didn't get CSE in Jaypee Noida but got CSE in Jaypee solan. After counseling, there is registration after a week. If you miss the registration you get cancellation fee which I got in case of Jaypee Noida
Faculty :
The faculty was a mixture. There are some teacher you tried to help you always and then there are some who still wants you to make notes and if you are failing to do so, you are not given marks. Most of the teacher lacks industry experience which is the main reason teacher doesn't always support students.
