Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose this course to explore electronics while keeping IT as an option if I feel the need to switch. Student faculty ratio is about 60:1 All faculties are PhDs and post doctoral fellows from renowned institutions around the world Term exams are mid semesters and comprehensive with surprise quiz tests in between. They are easy only for those who regularly study

Class Size : 200Course Fees : INR 600000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

FAANG amd MAANG are there for interships in SDEs and Analyst roles Tower Research gave 54 Lakhs for a 2 month internship All major Electronics, Mechanical, Civil Core companies come for interships usually really pay well CEERI Pilani also gives research internshipa

Placement Experience :

Students can sit for placements from 4-1 onwards but thet get prior opportunity for getting PrePlacement offers After 2-2 Practice School 1 isnheld which is an unpaid internship in a company, after 3-2 PS2 is held which is salaried internship. Where you can get PPOs Most students get placed, Last year highest package awas 60LPA around due to recession

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees hike is about 5%yoy and cost comes about 30 lakhs(may increase in future) Scholarships are 1. Merit - top 1% get 100% tution fee off Top 2% get 40% off 2. Merit cum need - different slabs are 80% 40% 25% amd 15%. Family income must be less than 12 LPA. CGPA decides who gets how much

Campus Life :

There are 3 fests 1 Bits Open Sports Meet held in September, Oasis(culture fest) held in late October and APOGEE (tech fest) held in April. Library is well equipped and has all necessary books and journals. Classrooms have AC and Plug points (not in all) Sports teams are active and regularly go for tournaments

Hostel Facilities :

Facilities in room are cupboard, 6.5 feet bed, Study table Chair, Whiteboard. Meals are generally good (mess food everyone knows) Hostels are allotted in the first year on entry, People can make own wings from 2nd year onwards 1 and 2 yearites have double sharing rest single

Hostel Fee : INR 100000 per year

Admission :

Course eligibility was minimum 75 percent in PCM subjects in class 12 board exams and only 1 year drop is allowed Application form etc can be found on website www.bitsadmission.com No reservations in college Admission process is okay

"Inside LNMIIT" : A Comprehensive College Review

Placement Experience:

Placements here are good enough. A large number of registered students placed every year but last year due to recession insitute placements dropped down from around 95 percent to 70 percent, and this thing happened in every college even in IIT's. some students got placed but did not accepted the offer due to low CTC. and the average package was also dropped last year. Highest CTC offered was around 50 lpa and average CTC dropped down to 11 LPA from 15 LPA last to last year. There are various companies came to our college including Media.net, D.E. Shaw, BNY MELON, AMAZON, FLIPKART, EAGLEVIEW, ION GROUP, TEKION CORP, SCHLUMBERGER, HONDA CARS, DELOITTE, IBM and many more, number of offers made for 2024 batch was 330 as per the placement cell data. and from 7th semester students are eligible for the campus placements. My only plan is to get a decent placement in a tech company and no further study plans I have.

Good Placements and Social Life in College.

Placement Experience:

From 3rd and 4th years students can become eligible for placements. there are many companies visited in my college like infosys, wipro, tcs, tech, Microsoft, flipkart, accenture and all. 75% of students got placed. my plane is not only for getting degree my dream is to become a Software Engineer. Highest package is 45LPA and Average package is 10LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

So basically btech is a 4 year course and there are 8 semester,2 sem for each year. As they need to provide 6 month for each sem according to our calculations but they'll only provide u 4 month for each sem which leads a mental disturbance for students coz there are so many exams in every month of the sem so this is hectic but the examination are not so hard and not so easy and also 75 percent attendance is mandatory for all to sit in exam

Placement Experience:

As earlier said there is a lot of upper hand in terms of placements if we compared it with other private institutions, BITJ has a very good placement cell especially made for Btech placements students starting from 6th sem onwards sitting in cell visited by many different companies with a lot different package. The average package of BitJ is about 900000, especially for the CSE branch and highest, go upto 30lac more depending on individual skills and qualities and about 80-90 % of students got placing every year and the rest go to higher studies n all.
