SHUATS- The heritage of Naini, Prayagraj.

  • Politics involved among the teachers against the students and also fellow teachers.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course curriculum was more theory-based. I chose this course so that I could learn about the agriculture business. The student-faculty ratio was 50:1. The faculties were well qualified based on the subjects and the teaching style of every teacher was different based on the different approaches they had towards their subjects. The exams were conducted time to time and the question paper quality was average for a student who is a little bit attentive can pass the exam easily.

Placement Experience :

The students in ABM start searching for Internships in the second semester. During our time several companies visited the college for Internships like Bayer, Indofil, VNR, Yara, etc. The highest package grabbed by the students was 6 LPA. Almost about 85% of the students had got a placement and the rest of the students didn't either sit for the campusing or had other plans in the future. I started an IT company along with my friends and did not take part in the campusing drive arranged by the college.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The fee structure is right as it can be considered an affordable fee as compared to the colleges that are offering the same course but at a premium price. There was a scholarship opportunity for Christians as it is a missionary college. There was also financial assistance for the reserved category and there was a waiver in their fees as well. The campusing is also good in the college as people from their got good Internships and Offers from companies like Bayer, VNR, PI Industries etc.

Campus Life :

The SHUATS annual fest is held at their huge campus and the students enjoy a lot during the fest. There is also a huge Central Library which has a plethora of books for all departments present in SHUATS. The Classrooms had ACs, a Stage with a mic, and projectors that made the classes more modern. SHUATS holds various sports including Cricket, Football, etc and there are many other extra curricular activities on the campus like NCC, etc. SHUATS also various groups for people from different states which provided the students a great opportunuty to connect and network with the other studnets on campus.

Admission :

For admissions, there is an entrance exam conducted by SHUATS itself. The application form can be found on the SHUATS official website and the fee in 2020 was Rs 2000(subject to change now). The application deadlines were mentioned on the SHUATS website. I didn't avail any reservation benefits hence I am not aware of this topic. The admission process was hassle-free and there were faculties and personnel who cooperated in a great way to help us out while we were taking the admission.

Placement Experience:

Placement is very impressive in ISAB. Since the establishment ISAB has successfully meeting the milestone of 100% placement. Which could sound fake but it's not. I've seen my seniors in alumni meet, all of them are working in corporate. My batch has recently placed 100% for summer internship and I'm sure our placements will also be having these results.

Placement Experience:

There are 100% placements given. The average CTC is from 6 to 7 lakhs PA. The highest package is Rs 15 lakhs per annum. Before placements commence, interactions happen with corporates through guest lectures, seminars, etc. Then through aptitude tests, GD's and PI's, students are shortlisted. Many companies come from various sectors like the Big 4. Panasonic, coca cola, Nestle, Vodafone, KPMG, Dabur, Infosys, CNBC, Accenture, are the major recruiters.

Placement Experience:

Maybe from 4th-semester students become eligible for campus placements. As I am a fresher so I don’t have more knowledge about that the highest package maybe 3-4 lakh. The percentage should be good. I am thinking to establish my own business. Being an entrepreneur and my plan B is getting a job in banks.

Admission:

The admission is based on the entrance examination which is conducted at the institute level. The college requires us to pass our bachelor?s degree with good marks in order to qualify the eligibility criteria.

Placement Experience:

The college claims to have a 100% placement record. It is true to some extent as most of us got placed in good companies. Some of them are satyam enterprises, infosys, IBM, EY etc. and they offer a good salary.

Admission:

I applied for the MBA Hospital Administration Regular course when I was appearing for the final semester examination of my Bsc Nursing Degree. The institute confirmed my admission only after the final results were declared and when I had submitted the proof of securing more than 55% marks (Which was the minimum eligibility criteria at my time). The college grants admission on the basis of results, experience in hospitals, the course pursued in the under-graduation, and many other comprehensive factors. Considering the good reputation this college enjoys, I did not have any second thoughts before applying here. The admission process is also very simple. By paying a nominal charge of INR 125, the candidates can get the application form from the college website itself.

Placement Experience:

Since it’s a hospital training and research institute, the placements are not available. Students usually join in different reputed hospitals by applying themselves only. But the college brings out the most confident interns.
