- Nice lecture rooms with comfortable seats
- Here we have canteen system instead of a mess one so we can eat food of our choice at a reasonable price
Dislikes
- Some courses which are in core are booring
- Some times faculty is stubborn with there decisions which sometime doesn't goes in favour of us
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose the ICT(information & Communication technology) as it had courses similar to a cs branch with mix of Communication branch. The faculaty ratio is low but all the faculty has atleast 3-4 years of experience and are well educated(like IIT, Hawards etc) and their teaching methods vary but is understable. The So there are total 3 exams per semester insem 1,2 and end sem exam but it changes as professor wishes.
Internships Opportunities :
Some companies like spinklr, de shaw, google, Microsoft, come for summer interns and permanent ones with around 14 lpa and 20 to 30 lpa respectively and regarding projects if its related to placements and after job or porjexts given during internship i have no idea as i have yet to be placed
Placement Experience :
After you complete 6th semester you are given a choice to either do summer internship or summer research and in 8th sem you can go for winter internship if you have cleared the required credits for your degree and then for placements during 7 th semester to 8th you can apply for placements. This year 2023 companies like google, sprinklr, de shaw, mircosoft, goldeman sachs, schrodinger, trilogy innovations, flipkart, linkedin, atlassian, uipath, unifyapps, fintech have come for summer, winter interships and placemets. The higest package in placments was of 40 LPA. And around 60 to 70% students gets placement. My plans after getting the degree are: 1. If got a nice well figure job then take it. 2. Go for higher studies in marketing or sales in some foreign country
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So the per semester fees is approx 1.25 lakhs (25000 + 75000) where hostel and academic included. The btech students have a mandetory hostel stay. There are few scholarship like mysy you get and regarding placements and internship many teir 1 and 2 companys come here like google, Microsoft, goldschs, etc.
Campus Life :
So there 2 major fests ifest for technical fest and snapse for cultural fest usually in feb and september. There is a libary for studying recommended books. In classroom benchs are neat and projected screen is used to teach. Their are many sport facility like badminton court, tt tabel, carrom, gym, cricket ground, football ground, basketball ground, and volleyball ground. And a sports fest is also organized between colleges. Clubs like programming club, theater club, drama club, debate, backstage support, etc are there and especially spc(student placement cell)
Hostel Facilities :
Rooms are usually 2 person in old hostel and 3 in new hostel. Food is of decent quality. Hostels are mandatory for btwch so no issues in regards of availability . There are common bathroom and washroom per wing there are there are wings form A to R atleast in boys hostel for girls no idea but one building available and 2 for boys
Admission :
The admisson process was like 250 seats for gujarat students and 125 seats for other states/NRI students. The Gujarat state students admission was from acpc which consists of gujcet & 12th board while for other states student they had the jee mains or advance criteria. For backward classes like obc , st, sc there are reserved seats dont know the exact number. So for students entering vua acpc they will have pay admission fee 2500 from acpc portal or the link gor in mail for others no idea
