- The tution fees is less and hence a better ROi as compared to other B schools.
- Good faculty to student ratio of 1:6 which helps the students.
Dislikes
- No hostel accommodation to boys of first year MBA
- Auditorium size is too small and can only accommodate 100 students.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is relatively light as compared to other B-schools are there are fewer courses per semester. The faculty members are well-experienced and knowledgeable. The exams are taken on a regular basis and are very easy to pass. The faculty-to-student ratio is 1:6 which Is quite good.
Internships Opportunities :
The roles offered during the internship mainly belong to marketing, operations and IT, and analytics. Opportunities for finance, HR, and strategy are relatively low. A lot depends on the current market conditions as well as to what companies visit for what roles. Project opportunities are very large and are available for all.
Placement Experience :
Placements of the college are okayish. Although there is 100% placement in the college, but only a few good brands offer high packages, and the rest of the students get offer near to the average only. Also, the placements happen on a rolling basis unlike other B schools.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees structure contains tution fees which is 600000 per year. Other than that, if a student gets hostel then hostel and mess fees is additional depending upon which hostel you get( AC or non-AC). As far as financial aid is concerned, I don't have any information regarding the same.
Campus Life :
Boys of First year MBA don't get hostels so they have to look for outside accommodation. Also, accomodation is not good near the campus and hence students face problem in travelling everyday for classes. Books and journals are available in the central library of IIT Delhi. Sports is not given that much of an importance. Committees are there and they function properly but clubs are not much active.
Admission :
The admission process involved shortlisting on the basis of CAT scores followed by an offline interview. The application form can be found on the institute's website easily.I did not avail any reservation benefits but reservation benefits are there for the students.
Interview Experience :
There was no GD process as far as admission process is concerned. There was a personal interview in which the questionss were mainly focused on the following: HR questions ( why MBA, why this college etc.) Questions regarding your background (workex and undergraduation) Questions on current affairs I prepared for these round mainly through YouTube.
