I really like the teaching process of our teachers.

Placements by our university is quite low.

Course Curriculum Overview :

In my point of view Calcutta University is the best college and fees structure is lower than any other University so I choose Calcutta University. Each and every faculty members are from PhD background and their teaching process is also good . Term exam happens 2 times a year in a 6 month gap and it is really very difficult to pass M.com from Calcutta University.

Class Size : 90Course Fees : INR 1200 per year

Placement Experience :

From second semester students are eligible for campus placements. Deloitte, KPMG offers placements in our university. Highest package is 450000 and average package is 350000. Placement getting percentage is quite low.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

1st and 3rd semester application fees is around 1100-1200 and per semester exam fees is 150. The cost to study is affordable. Swami Vivekananda scholarship and Indira Gandhi scholarship is given by our university.

Campus Life :

Library fesility is available in University . The library is quite huge and you can find the book you need. No annual fest is organised by our university, only holi utsav and saraswati puja took place.

Admission :

The application form available on the online website of Calcutta University from September onwards. Reservation benefits are available at Calcutta University. If you availed the benefit then cut off will be quite low for you. No I don't think that any improvement need in our university.

My college life.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course overall was good. There were a lot of scope for students to score good marks. I had MCQ papers as well. We had vivas, presentation and projects during the years. I had 2 semesters every year. And every semester had there specific exams. Sometimes it used to become very pressuring but it also made me push myself.

Mcom degree from WBSU

Admission:

Student seek admission in Mcom via test.It requires a Bcom degree graduate with 10+2+3 system .Final year graduation student may fill application under 40% quota.Selected candidates are then passed through counselling session and finally given admission after document verification.

Placement Experience:

This college is not so good at placement .Only few students get placed.Others have to go offline placements and seek opportunity.Sometimes students end up enrolling into teachers training classes so as to be open for becoming teachers in their respective fields.

Remarks:

Seniors are very helpful here you want to know about anything or have any doubts then you can directly approach any senior you see and definitely they will help you in the best way they can. There is no ragging here and you can hardly spot an difference between seniors and juniors.
