Mcom degree from WBSU

Course Curriculum Overview :

Mcom in WBSU is 2 years semester wise curriculum.University provides computer labs for further hands on experience on language .Still there is a lack of project based exposure given by university to students.

Placement Experience :

This college is not so good at placement .Only few students get placed.Others have to go offline placements and seek opportunity.Sometimes students end up enrolling into teachers training classes so as to be open for becoming teachers in their respective fields.

Fee Structure And Facilities :

Fees is really very low .General students are charged just 7600/- while on other hand 200 reduction in fees is given to SC/ST candidates. Thus ,they have to pay hardly 7400/-.So,the course is perfect fit for the ones looking for minimal expense.

Campus Life :

Extracurricular activities are not much promoted at campus .Only a few events are on the university calender and hardly students are enthusiastic for these.Sports activity is still under growth .Not many achievements are on wall as far as sports activities are concerned.

Hostel Facilities :

hostels are provided in new building behind admin block building. It is surrounded by a small pond and greenery all around.Nice view for good start but amenities are still not much .Rooms are decent but not well equipped .Food is good and water facilities have fixed timings.

Admission :

Student seek admission in Mcom via test.It requires a Bcom degree graduate with 10+2+3 system .Final year graduation student may fill application under 40% quota.Selected candidates are then passed through counselling session and finally given admission after document verification.

Faculty :

faculty of the college is just average .Not so highly experienced teachers are available. There are lesser number of professor as compared to the number required.Doubt solving isn't given much priority.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course overall was good. There were a lot of scope for students to score good marks. I had MCQ papers as well. We had vivas, presentation and projects during the years. I had 2 semesters every year. And every semester had there specific exams. Sometimes it used to become very pressuring but it also made me push myself.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum of my chosen course was a significant factor in my decision. It offers a balance mix of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, tailored to modern industry requirements. In terms of real world applications the curriculum excells by offering courses that encourages critical thinking The frequency of and timing of exam were 2 hrs with a moderate level difficulty

Remarks:

Seniors are very helpful here you want to know about anything or have any doubts then you can directly approach any senior you see and definitely they will help you in the best way they can. There is no ragging here and you can hardly spot an difference between seniors and juniors.

Remarks:

The management is lax and slow the college can improve on that front. The classes get delayed and sometimes when the classes are cancelled the students are not informed.
