Gist is the best engineering college for diploma college .

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculty member is so experienced and have 15+ years teaching experience also they are qualifed gate exam. Student ratio is 60:40. The semester is held by the 6month interval, you are prepared by the faculty for your semester exam.

Class Size : 105Course Fees : INR 51000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The semesters fees is 51000 per year, no fees hike happened in last 5years, you will get swami vivekananda scholarship and the amount is 60000, College is not provided no financial assistance and stipends.

Campus Life :

The name of annual fest is global tech fest and it will be held in february. All engineering books are available in the library and latest journal.Annual sports are held in february and all clubs are available for sports, song etc.

Admission :

If someone want to admission to this college to qualify voclet. You have to rank around 4000 in electrical. And if you go through jexpo you have to get rank upto 6000.No reservation is there.Only you have to qualify the entrance exam.

Don't expect too much from your college life ????

Course Curriculum Overview:

there wasn't any inspiration behind my descision to take diploma, I just failed in physics in 12th so I had to take it. Well the course doesn't accurately follow the topical syllabus of official syllabus as our college is an autonomous college but affiliated by AICTE. There are lots of things to improve. Faculty should be more serious for our classes and their timings. Some teachers are very good but some are the worst. Faculty should look onto that. In previous semester it was hard to study as we had to give 3 internals in every month but now maybe it's fine.

Placement Experience:

After 4th semester, companies will be coming to our campus for job opportunities, There will be 5 to 6 companies coming each year at least... They will take written tests also interviews before selection... The highest package after doing an internship for 1.5 years a student can get 12-13lpa. The company which offers this facility is called "Thoughtworks". 40-50% of students will be getting placements. Depending on their knowledge and quality. Though I plan to do BTec after this.

My college in my opinion

Placement Experience:

After the 5th sem one should be eligible for campus placement. Birla, Tata , zindal as so many. In the metalargical department, there's 100% placement provided. On the other hand there about 20-40% of students are placed through other branches. As I would complete my course diploma in mining engineering, I would go through ppt training for 1 year.
