- The classrooms are well maintained ofcourse because we pay such a high amount of money.
- Campus is not so bad, can roam around freely with friends. It also has a play ground.
Dislikes
- Faculty is the worst, class timings are bad, there's a big uncertainty about classes, some teachers don't even bother to take class unless we contact them and tell them to take class.
- Academic coordinator is not available at the required time. For example, we are sitting in class and waiting for teacher. No teacher is coming and we don't have their contact no. so we call our co-ordinator, bt he/she also don't pick up the call.
Course Curriculum Overview :
there wasn't any inspiration behind my descision to take diploma, I just failed in physics in 12th so I had to take it. Well the course doesn't accurately follow the topical syllabus of official syllabus as our college is an autonomous college but affiliated by AICTE. There are lots of things to improve. Faculty should be more serious for our classes and their timings. Some teachers are very good but some are the worst. Faculty should look onto that. In previous semester it was hard to study as we had to give 3 internals in every month but now maybe it's fine.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The official fee of my diploma computer science course is 2,50,000 rs. But the college faculty demands random Management Quota during admission adding to the admission fee 50,000 (for my case they demanded 57,000 extra. so I had to pay 50,000+57,000). After that excluding the 1st semester college charges 40,000 (semester fee) + 2,000 (exam fee) in every semester. My college did provide an internship through an internship provider named ACME Grade but it was a paid internship (3,500 rs), but I wasn't able to complete that because my internal exam was on that time so my money was wasted.
Campus Life :
College conducts freshers welcome party and annual fest but seniors force college students (except freshers) to donate 500 rs for the fest and which is very annoying. College should arrange money not students. Campus life is not bad we used to play cricket in the ground but now it's under construction. There's also a common room and a carrom table is available there but 1st years are not allowed to come there.
Admission :
I actually didn't attended the entrance exam for entering diploma so I thought I can't get admission to goverment colleges so I didn't even try to apply. But later I got to know that I could get admission to goverment colleges if they had seats available, and now It's regret that.
Faculty :
As I already told the faculty is bad. All your determination to come and do classes will destroy. The faculty students ratio is bad actually I can't provide any accurate number. Exam patterns are moderate. Internal exams are of 20 and semester exams are of 80. We had to give only one internal exam before the semester exam in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. In 4th semester suddenly it changed, bew rule came that we have to give 3 internals , best 2 marks will be chosen from 3 then averaging them will give our actual internal marks. The semester exam pattern also changed. Now we gave 80 marks of exam and they'll calculate it relative to 60 marks and extra 20 will be according to class performances snd attendance. Now in 5th sem again it changed now we'll have to give only 3 internals and the semester exam pattern is normal.
