Overall IEM is a good college. They teach us course subject as well as extra activities.Great environment for overall growth. They encourage us for further Studies in foreign and IITs. Strict discipline than any other college in west bengal.

IEM holds a strong position among other private colleges in terms of placement. According to a recent study, it has provided 100% placement to its students for the past seven years. n our batch, everyone got placed within 5 days. 80% of the batch had multiple offers. College Events :
EM hosts a number of Technical, Cultural and Management fest throughout the year. These festivals are for the entertainment and knowledge purpose of students. A lot of colleges participate in these fests and some very renowned personalities also attend to perform in such fest. INNOVATION - Innovation is the annual technological fest of Institute of Engineering and Management, organized in association with University of Engineering and Management. It celebrates technical prowess and out of the box thinking. It helps participants to think, ideate, innovate and push. themselves to go that extra mile. It is a medium through which the youth can express their views, their creativity, their talent and their technological skills.
Fee Structure And Facilities :
Total fee for b.tech is around 3,50,000. We have to pay fee per semester around 38-40k. Scholarship is available for Bengali students only and those are under TFW they have very less fee even less than a private school fee for nursery students 20% get the scholarships by IEM and scholarship for outside Bengali students .The loans are also available from banks , every bank provides loan for this college students.

Campus Life :
IEM holds a number of short term courses, seminars and workshops to enhance the participation of students into various extra curricular activities that boosts knowledge. Various seminars like International Conference on “Innovative Techno management solutions”, National Seminar on Technology Invasion in Social Lifestyle, Toy Technology, Could Computing, Strategic HR audit are directed towards the enlightenment of students knowledge in various fields like Computing, Business, Entrepreneurship, etc.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel facilities is good enough, it provide good food, study environment, Wi-Fi 24 hrs facility and a well disciplined life as well, the students are not permitted to get out of the hostel after 8 pm and they should live a proper life there if they want.Proper security is available.Rooms are very spacious shared by 4 students.Hostel Fee is around 80k. Food quality is good and healthy. Food is available as purely veg for vegetarians and purely no-veg for non-vegetarians.
Alumni/Alumna :
The accomplishments of the members of the IEM alumni represent an inspiring account of positive social, cultural, and economic changes in the world. Hence continuing the honorary custom, IEM Alumni Association is organising ‘The Distinguished IEM Alumni Award '. Our alumni come to organise many events and give us there experience. Many seminar are arrange by them to tech us new things.
Exam Structure :
There are two mid-sem and one final sem exam for lab and theory paper both and it requires a attendance of min 80% and if any one have less they are talked with there parents or even dabared from exams.They arrange Aptitude classes and mock interviews for placement purpose .So that we perform best in placements
Faculty :
In top colleges like IIT, NIT, BITS Pilani, etc., teachers are very knowledgeable. Here also, teachers are also from IIT, NIT and other good colleges. Teachers are quite helpful and Some of them are IES officers, assistant scientists and some came after working in PSUs. They always motivate us to do some innovative things and do innovative project . They always try to teach us new things so that we learn new things. They guide us to do research paper like IEEE.
