Hostels and campus environment is totally too adorable.
Rooms are too luxurious and one can live comfortably over there.

Dislikes

Time Management is the thing in which i believe intitute should work upon.
Transport facility should be provided to student which are not opting hostels .

Course Curriculum Overview :

This particular course if good for the students who want to make their career in Instrumentation and Control field. The course is more about sensors and semiconductors and i have keen interest in this particular domain that's why i have chosen this particular course. There is atleast one faculty over 30 students and whole branch is divided into different subgroups for smooth flow of academics. All the teachers are PHD holders from a premium institutes like IITs,NITs,IIITs etc. Its not difficult for someone to crack the semester exams if he/she study on regular basis.

Class Size : 65Course Fees : INR 358000 per year

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Fees is approximate 4.61 lakhs for first year of the degree. There is a provision of annual scholarship which is totally merit based on the basis of CGPA of the student . Campus Jobs Opportunity are also available for the student.

Campus Life :

Campus life of thapar is completely full of moments of happiness and joy. There are many socities and clubs which student can join to make their social network. Annual Fest like Saturnalia, Thapar Food Festival , E-summit are some of the famous events of institute . This institute's library is one the most premium libraries of INDIA. Books of almost all subjects and competitions are available. Various Sport Activities are also carried out here it has its own sports complex also having swimming pool. Classroom of the institute gives a totally premuim feel and benches are well equipped with charging plugs for convenience of the students.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostel of Thapar University gives great competition to many 3-4 star Hotels. Infrastructure is totally superb and appreciable for its beauty of construction. Registration is totally done on hostel portal of the institute. And hostels are provided only on the basis of GPA of the student.

Hostel Fee : INR 55000 per year

Admission :

Eligibility : Admission though merit channel- 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 70% marks in Physics,Maths and Chem/Bio/Biotech combined from a recognized board. Application can be found on the official website of the institute and updated fees can also be seen on the website only. Approximate fees is 22L-23L for whole degree.

Placement Experience:

After 6th semester students are eligible for internship had placements. The companies which generally comes for placements are google, wipro, deloitte, Microsoft, HCL, TCS, LnT, Cisco, Infosys etc are some of the highest recruters in chitkara university.
