Remarks :

Briefly this university is best for aerospace department as it is emphasized too much. The only thing that lags here is other activities apart from academics

Entrance Preview :

We are having Open entrance exam for Hindustan University. I got to know about it from my friend and appeared for entrance fortunately I got a seat in Aerospace. We were having counselling sessions only

Course Curriculum Overview :

The curriculum is quite right as whole Syllabus is standard and based on the course structure followed by renowned universities.For practical learning sake we are having enough of field works

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are organised by the university during winter and summer breaks.Mostly the college based internships are rarely paid. We also try to get some internship from outside

Placement Experience :

Regarding placements I can't say about other departments but in Aerospace department the placements reaches till 10 lacs too as this is the department for which this university is known.

College Events :

Events are not much in this campus but we keep on attending in other colleges

Fee Structure And Facilities :

The fee is around 2lacs 75 thousand including hostel facilities but since I got scholarship so I don't pay my tuition fee

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

Scholarships are provided to meritorious students. College also have collaboration with banks to help student for getting education loans

Campus Life :

Extra curricular activities can be counted on fingers. Sports, Talenthunt etc are organised periodically

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel rooms are not good although they are well maintained but too old fashioned

Alumni/Alumna :

From our department there is a enriched alumni network as many students had done their graduation from this college

Exam Structure :

Exams are just a boredom. This is one of the worst part as studying the whole Syllabus before semester becomes headache

Faculty :

Faculty is highly knowledgeable and experienced. I am not sure on their qualifications but it seems that they would have got highest degree in their fields.

Average college but a good place to study on your own

Placement Experience:

The campus placements start in the 7th semester. Due to the recession, there is a lot of backlash when it comes to placements. It has been quite poor for the last few years. But it depends on how the student is prepared for the competitive world.

Placement Experience:

Students who pursuing five and sixth semesters onwards are eligible to attend the placements and internship. Mostly the IT companies are visited frequently and core companies are low. The Highest package is 9LPA. The percentage of college placement is 78 percent. I planned to make higher studies after my degree.

Reality of Veltech

Placement Experience:

Placement is good for the CSE and IT departments. You can't expect placement if you belong to other departments, there is a placement for the other departments but very less. Campus placement starts in 3rd year itself. They have special classes for Aptitude skills and interview preparation GD and necessary preparations for job placement opportunities. 90% of students from CSE and IT get placed. The average package is 7.5 LPA you can expect a minimum of 3.5 LPA. If you are willing to go for higher studies you can contact the international relation office they have good relations with other universities abroad, they have students exchange programs, research scholarships etc if you are not planning to seat in placement. I plan for higher studies and research after my Btech.

Best place ever visited. My Sweet College.

Placement Experience:

The placements in my college is very good and top companies hire students across every branch with a good amount of package. At the end of 3rd year every student is elegible for the placements in college. About 20 to 25 companies visited for campus hiring and approximately 700 offers were given across the college from every branch. 60 percentage of students got placed in the campus hiring program. Highest package is 24 LPA and the aveyis 5LPA. My plan is to get into a good MNC company which is related to Aerospace technology.
