- As I am a first year student I have not that much experience yet but whatever I experienced in those days are quite good enough.
- Faculty members of our department and seniors are very much helpful to us.
Dislikes
- Small campus is a problem for me. Playing outside games like cricket football are tough for us.
- First year campus different from others that's also a problem
Course Curriculum Overview :
Our course curriculum is actually electronics and instrumentation engineering in applied physics portion. Faculty members of our department are highly qualified and graduated from renowned institute of India. I am actually interested in electronics technology based things that's why choose this course. Talking about girls isto boyes retio of our department 1:4. I have recently done my mid semester and one thing suggest that questions are came from class notes if one can go through his class notes, he can be next topper.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fees structure of our college is second lowest fees structure in West Bengal after jadavpur university. Only 30 k for whole 4 years btech course. Home state students can also get SVCMC scholarship 60k annually. For other states students their many private scholarship. West Bengal government also launched students credit Card for meritorious students.
Campus Life :
Campus life is not that much good but we'll enough. There are not specific cricket playground for students. Tech fest happens every year approx when no semester exam there. There are many more extra curricular activities like dance, singing, playing cricket football tennis, badminton, chess etc.classrooms are well maintained and fully ac. There also a coding club created by cu seniors.
Admission :
There are actually only one exam for admission in cu is wbjee conducted by wbjeeb every year. If Physics chemistry and mathematics in your 10 +2 then yes you're eligible for this exam. In the portal of wbjeeb application form,fees,and payment option available. Yes reserved seat are available only for home state students.
