Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

I choose this course as I always had keen interest in economics and maths and I wanna do data analytics and this course will help me alot for that in the future, as it is all about the numbers. The faculty students ratio is nice in my college as every teacher does give attention to every student. The quality of the faculty and the way they teach had been great in my experience, tho one of them didn't really had a lot of experience in teaching but still she was able to handle the class pretty well, that shows that the faculty in our college is good. Well the the first term was not that long but we all were able to complete the syllabus in time, and had a nicee one month to revise for the examination. It was not that difficult to pass the examination if you have studied well for it.

Internships Opportunities

5

The internship opportunities provided in our college are great and the roles was like of , customer service and support, finance and banking, research and analytics, business analysis and consulting, research, etc.

Placement Experience

4

students become eligible for campus placements in their final semesters or when they are in the last year of their program. EY, Deloitte, hp, Asus , Samsung, hsbc are some of the companies which came there were total 800 offers made Highest package was of 2800000 And the lowest was of 200000 At least 70% Student get placement through campus placement After better the degree I would want to go in data analytics as I would be doing coding too and after that prepare for CAT for my MBA

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees of the course is pretty reasonable in my opinion, as other colleges charge hefty amount for the same course, yes our university also provides alot of scholarships, there are even some financial assistance for people with reservation or people who are below poverty line.

Campus Life

4.5

The life at campus is pretty fun if I am being honest there is always some kind of fest or function and competition are being held throughout the year. The annual fest is always conducted in the month of October Yes, we have all the books available In our college library physically and we even the system of e- library present. We have smartclass available ac and good light in our classroom, etc. We always have some kind of sports competition going on and sometimes inter college/University competitions too One of the sports our college team is really good at is volleyball. We have a dance club, music club instrumental club art club photography club and many more.

Admission

Well yes I gave cuet entrance, the entrance form for the same will be available at samarth website. For the eligibility the subsjects for the courses I wanted was English + 3 core subs (accounts, business studies and economics) No I didn't get any reservation benifits. Not exactly the admission process was pretty smooth

Placement Experience:

Gargi, like most other delhi colleges, has a standard placement cell. Students become eligible for placements from the 5th semester onwards, but most requirements happen during the final year. The companies that visit are primarily ed tech based ventures or marketing, HR firms and sales firms. A few that have collaborated over the year has been EY, Decathlon, Urban Company, Deloitte and so on. in terms of packages, the highest that had been around 15-17lpa, and the average package is 4-5lpa. About 20-30% of the batch gets placed during placement interviews while many try to pursue other opportunities or off-campus venues.

as the everyone know for computer science b tech is the best course but there is to much rush for b tech and i dont want to waste my college life or campus life on engenerring degree which dont give me placements thats why i choose for bsc hons cs in du to enjoy the campus life. if you study well in this course it will definately help vo in job interview making your resume good and skills better. the teaching method should be more practical than doing on notebooks or oraly. the datesheet and timings of exams are preety good and the difficulty of exam are moderate the ones who prepares will definately score good marks and can maintain better cgpa.

Placement Experience:

One can easily view the placement statistics of our college on their website. The placement cell of the college manages the placement process. On first glance, it appears impressive. But most of the placements are in similar fields of commerce like consulting or finance, followed by Arts and Science courses getting the least amount of placements. I personally have no faith in my course getting me any placement. So I'm preparing for government exams anyways.
